  Conventionally, hydrating agents such as polyhydric alcohols, pyrrolidone carboxylates and amino acids as conditioned agents in hair cosmetics for the purpose of imparting flexibility and wettability to the hair, protecting the hair and improving the feel. Catalytic polymers such as cellulose, siloxane compounds, hydrated oils capable of hydrating moisture above their own weight, such as lanolin derivatives and cholesterol fatty acid esters, etc. are widely used (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 to 4). . However, when the above moisturizing agent is used, there is a drawback that sufficient water retention cannot be obtained and the feeling of sag is felt with time.
