- 陽極と、陰極と、前記陽極と前記陰極との間に形成された有機層とを備え、
前記有機層は、
発光層、
前記発光層と前記陰極との間に形成された電子輸送層、および
前記発光層と前記電子輸送層との間に形成され、前記発光層のバンドギャップおよび前記電子輸送層のバンドギャップよりも大きいバンドギャップを有する発光防止層
を有する有機ELデバイス。 - 前記発光防止層のイオン化ポテンシャルは、前記発光層のイオン化ポテンシャルよりも大きい請求項1に記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記発光防止層の厚さは前記電子輸送層の厚さよりも小さく、前記電子輸送層の前記厚さは前記発光層の厚さよりも小さい請求項1または2に記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記発光防止層のバンドギャップは3eV以上6eV以下である請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記発光防止層の厚さは、1nm以上50nm以下である請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記発光防止層はキレート金属錯体を含む請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記発光防止層はシロール誘導体を含む請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記発光層は高分子発光材料を含む、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の有機ELデバイス。
