Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の反射型液晶表示装置の製造方法は、薄膜トランジスターを含んだ下地層が形成されたガラス基板上にネガティブ型の有機絶縁膜を塗布する段階と、前記有機絶縁膜をソフトベイクする段階と、前記有機絶縁膜の表面全体が架橋結合されるように露光マスクの使用なしに前記有機絶縁膜を1次露光する段階と、前記1次露光された有機絶縁膜を露光された部分のみ架橋結合されるように開口部を具備した露光マスクを使って2次露光する段階と、前記1次及び2次露光された有機絶縁膜をポストベイクして硬化させると共に前記2次露光されない有機絶縁膜の部分で前記有機絶縁膜内に存在するソルベントのアウトガッシングが生じることを通じてエムボシングを形成する。

Description
一方、反射型液晶表示装置は入射経路及び反射経路を有するために、一つの経路のみを有する通常のLCDに比べて相対的に透過度が低くて、特に、主視野角の方向での透過度が低い短所がある。
先ず、本発明の技術的原理を説明すると、本発明は有機絶縁膜に存在するソルベントの除去時に発生するガスを利用してエムボシングを形成する。

Claims (2)
- 薄膜トランジスターを含んだ下地層が形成されたガラス基板上にネガティブ型の有機絶縁膜を塗布する段階と、
前記有機絶縁膜をソフトベイクする段階と、
前記有機絶縁膜の表面全体が架橋結合されるように、露光マスクの使用せずに前記有機絶縁膜を1次露光する段階と、
前記1次露光された有機絶縁膜を露光された部分のみが架橋結合されるように、開口部を具備した露光マスクを使って2次露光する段階と、
前記1次及び2次露光された有機絶縁膜をポストベイクして硬化させると共に、前記2次露光されていない有機絶縁膜の部分で、前記有機絶縁膜内に存在するソルベントのアウトガッシングが生じることを通じてエムボシングを形成する段階とを含むことを特徴とする反射型液晶表示装置の製造方法。 - 前記有機絶縁膜の1次露光は最適露光量以下のエネルギーで遂行し、前記有機絶縁膜の2次露光は最適露光量で遂行することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の反射型液晶表示装置の製造方法。
