Abstract
【課題】 簡単な構造で、横臥している人がＴＶその他の画像を観賞できるベッドを提供すること。
【解決手段】 フレーム１８の頭側に配設されたヘッドボード１２に、前記ヘッドボード１２の平面部に対して観音開き若しくは片開きをなすように、枢着された液晶パネルのディスプレイ３０を備えたベッド１０を構成した。

Description
本発明は、ベッドに関し、ベッド上に横臥している人がＴＶその他の画像を観賞できるようにしたにベッドに関する。
ベッド上に横臥している人がＴＶその他の画像を観賞できるようにしたベッドは、例えば特許文献１に開示されている。すなわち、このベッドは、フレーム全体が天蓋で覆われており、この天蓋の頂部には、画面がヘッドボードを指向するように、ＣＲＴが固定されている。そして、フレームに載置されたマットレス上に横臥する人が、この画面を見て、ＴＶ番組等を観賞できるようになっている。
米国特許第５，４５９，８９３号公報
確かに、上記したベッドは、横臥している人がＴＶその他の画像を観賞できるという点については至便ではあるが、ＣＲＴ固定用の天蓋を設けねばならないことは、ベッドの構成自体を複雑にして、実用性を欠くものである。
それゆえに、本発明は、簡単な構造で、横臥している人がＴＶその他の画像を観賞できるベッドを提供することを、その課題とする。
上記の課題を解決するために請求項１で講じた技術的手段は、「フレームの頭側に配設されたヘッドボードに、前記ヘッドボードの平面部に対して観音開き若しくは片開きをなすように、枢着された液晶パネルのディスプレイを備えたベッド。」を構成したことである。
請求項１に記載の発明によれば、液晶パネルのディスプレイをヘッドボードに、その平面部に対して観音開き若しくは片開きをなすように、枢着したので、液晶パネルのディスプレイがヘッドボードと一体化され、構造が簡単となる。また、不使用時には、液晶パネルのディスプレイをヘッドボード内に畳み込むので、邪魔にならない。
以下、本発明を実施するための最良の形態を、図面を基に説明する。
図１に示されるように、本発明の実施形態に係るベッド１０は、ヘッドボード１２、フットボード１４及び双方のボード１２・１４を連結する一対のビーム１６・１６（一方のみ図示）から構成されるフレーム１８を備える。フレーム１８上には、ビーム１６・１６間に位置して、ヘッド側が起立する起倒式床板（図示略）が配置されており、この床板上にはマットレス２０が載置される。
ヘッドボード１２は、床上に設置されるベース２２に対して上下動可能に装着されており、また、フットボード１４は、床上に設置されるベース２４対して上下動可能に装着されている。しかして、図示されない駆動装置を作動させると、ヘッドボード１２、フットボード１４及び双方のボード１２・１４を連結する一対のビーム１６・１６（一方のみ図示）から構成されるフレーム１８が、全体として、床面に対して上下動するようになっている。
ヘッドボード１２には、液晶パネルのディスプレイ３０が枢着されており、図示のように、ヘッドボード１２から引き出せば、背側が起立されたマットレス２０上に横臥している使用者が、楽な姿勢でディスプレイ３０の画面を見ることができるようになっている。不使用時は、ディスプレイ３０を、平面部に形成された矩形の凹部１２ａ内に折り畳み収容して、全体として面一となるようにすれば、何の支障も生じない。
尚、図示しないが、別の液晶パネルのディスプレイ（図示略）を準備して、一対の液晶パネルのディスプレイを観音開きの態様で、ヘッドボード１２の平面部に枢着しても良い。
また、ビーム１６から一対の突起部４０・４０が、水平外方向に延在するように設けられており、この突起部４０・４０に対して、サイドガード５０の足部５２・５２が、挿脱衣自在に装填されている。しかしてサイドガード５０には、テーブルタップ６０のコンセント部６２が装着されており、コンセント部６２から延出してプラグ６４に連なるコード６６は、部分的にカール状とされている。これにより、コード６６の長さが所定の範囲内で可変とでき、サイドガード５０の装着位置がフレームの長手方向での変更に対処できるようになっている。
尚、テーブルタップ６０のコンセント部６２に接続される電気機器としては、シェーバーや電気毛布及を例示することができる。

- フレームの頭側に配設されたヘッドボードに、前記ヘッドボードの平面部に対して観音開き若しくは片開きをなすように、枢着された液晶パネルのディスプレイを備えたベッド。
