Abstract
【解決手段】 N2Oを含有する排ガスG1に還元性ガスRを混合して加熱分解しているので、N2Oの分解によって生じた酸素は直ちに還元性ガスRと反応して固定される。このため、排ガスG1中のN2Oが分解して生じる窒素と酸素とが再結合してNOxが生じるのを防止できる。そして、N2Oと還元性ガスRとの反応熱によって連鎖的に他の分解反応が促進されるので、排ガスG1中のN2Oを確実に分解することができ、さらに、このN2Oの分解熱によって排ガスG1中に存在する他の有害成分も確実に除害することができる。

となる。さらに、還元性ガスが炭化水素、例えばメタンの場合には、

Claims (7)
- N2Oを含有する排ガスに還元性ガスを加えて混合ガスを調製し、
前記混合ガスを還元的雰囲気下で前記N2Oの熱分解温度以上の温度に加熱して前記排ガス中の有害成分を除害することを特徴とするN2O含有排ガスの処理方法。 - N2Oを含有する排ガスを水洗し、
水洗した前記排ガス中の水分を除去した後、前記排ガスに還元性ガスを加えて混合ガスを調製し、
前記混合ガスを還元的雰囲気下で前記N2Oの熱分解温度以上の温度に加熱して前記排ガス中の有害成分を除害することを特徴とするN2O含有排ガスの処理方法。 - 前記還元性ガスが、水素,アンモニアおよび炭化水素から選ばれた少なくとも1種以上のガスであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のN2O含有排ガスの処理方法。
- 内部にN2O含有排ガスを加熱分解する排ガス分解処理室が形成された排ガス処理塔と、
一端が前記排ガス処理塔に接続され、前記排ガス分解処理室内に排ガスを供給する流入配管と、
一端が前記排ガス処理塔に接続され、前記排ガス分解処理室内で加熱分解された処理済ガスを排出する排出配管と、
前記流入配管を通流する排ガスに還元性ガスを供給する還元性ガス供給手段とを具備することを特徴とするN2O含有排ガス処理装置。 - 前記流入配管には湿式スクラバが取付けられていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のN2O含有排ガス処理装置。
- 前記湿式スクラバと前記流入配管の排ガス出口との間には、前記湿式スクラバを通過した排ガス中の水分を除去する水分除去手段が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のN2O含有排ガス処理装置。
- 前記流入配管の排ガス出口には、前記排ガス出口を複数の区画に仕切るハニカム部材が取着されていることを特徴とする請求項4乃至6のいずれかに記載のN2O含有排ガス処理装置。
