Description
開示される発明は、最内部ゴム層、前記最内部ゴム層を覆う(overlay)ポリアミドバリヤー層、前記バリヤー層を覆う摩擦ゴム層、前記摩擦ゴム層を覆う補強層および前記補強層を覆うカバー層を含み、前記最内部ゴム層が、約45〜約65重量%のエチレン含有量を有する約70〜約90重量部の第一エチレン-プロピレン-ジエン(EPDM)ターポリマー;および約65〜約80重量%のエチレン含有量を有する約10〜約30重量部の第二EPDMを含むゴム組成物を含み;前記第一EPDMのエチレン含有量が、前記第二EPDMのエチレン含有量よりも約3〜約20重量%少ないことを特徴とするホースに向けられている。EPDM層は、間に外部接着剤を使用せずに、ポリアミド層に結合できる。
自動車の空気調節装置に有用なホースは開発されており、ホースもしくは他の適切な可撓性の導管部材は、冷却デバイスの主要操作部品を接合するために用いられている。これらのホースは、良好な可撓性、高強度、キンクなしで小半径に曲がる能力、内径に関して小さな外径および関与する流体への不浸透性を有するべきである。さらに、これらの冷却ホースは、目に見えない用途で、温度極値に供され、さらには適切な連結部品のための要件を満たさなければならない。
開示される本発明は、最内部ゴム層、前記最内部ゴム層を覆うポリアミドバリヤー層、前記バリヤー層を覆う摩擦ゴム層、前記摩擦ゴム層を覆う補強層および前記補強層を覆うカバー層を含み、前記最内部ゴム層が、約45〜約65重量%のエチレン含有量を有する約70〜約90重量部の第一エチレン-プロピレン-ジエン(EPDM)ターポリマー;および約65〜約80重量%のエチレン含有量を有する約10〜約30重量部の第二EPDMを含むゴム組成物を含み;前記第一EPDMのエチレン含有量が、前記第二EPDMのエチレン含有量よりも約3〜約20重量%少ないことを特徴とするホースである。
図1を参照すると、1つの実施態様において、本発明のホース110は、最内部ゴム層111、前記最内部ゴム層111を覆うポリアミドバリヤー層112、前記バリヤー層112を覆う摩擦ゴム層114、前記摩擦ゴム層114を覆う補強層116および前記補強層116を覆うカバー層118を含む。
実施例
本発明によるホースを、下記に記す層で調製した。最内部ゴム層を、重量部で量を表した表1に示すゴムで生成した。ナイロン6のバリヤー層を、第一および第二EPDMを含む最内部ゴム層の上に生成した。表1に記載される組成を有する摩擦ゴム層を、バリヤー層の外側に適用した。ポリエステル(PET)補強層を、従来の方法で摩擦コート層の外側に適用した。ポリエステル補強繊維を、改善された接着性および屈曲動的性能のために従来の接着剤で処理した。補強層の外側にあるのは、塩素化ブチルゴム層だった。
本発明の実施態様を示し、説明したが、それは多くの改変が可能であることを理解すべきである。したがって、構造および明細における変化を、定義され、請求される本発明の範囲から逸脱しなければ、実施してもよい。
Claims (3)
- 最内部ゴム層、前記最内部ゴム層を覆うポリアミドバリヤー層、前記バリヤー層を覆う摩擦ゴム層、前記バリヤー層を覆う補強層および前記補強層を覆うカバー層を含み、前記最内部ゴム層が、約45〜約65重量%のエチレン含有量を有する約70〜約90重量部の第一エチレン-プロピレン-ジエン(EPDM)ターポリマー;および約65〜約80重量%のエチレン含有量を有する約10〜約30重量部の第二EPDMを含むゴム組成物を含み;前記第一EPDMのエチレン含有量が、前記第二EPDMのエチレン含有量よりも約3〜約20重量%少ないことを特徴とするホース。
- 前記第一EPDMのエチレン含有量が、前記第二EPDMのエチレン含有量よりも約3〜約15重量%少ないことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のホース。
- 前記ゴム組成物が、さらに第一および第二のEPDM100重量部につき、約50〜約120重量部のカーボンブラックを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のホース。
