【従来の技術】
上記のような外枠、前枠、遊技盤および裏セット盤を備えた遊技機として、パチンコ機やアレンジボール機、雀球機などが広く知られている。この種の遊技機の代表例とされるパチンコ機では、遊技施設の遊技島に固定される固定保持用の外枠に開閉搭載用の前枠が前枠ヒンジ機構を介して横開き開閉可能に取り付けられ、前面側に遊技領域を有する遊技盤が前枠に設けられた収容枠に着脱可能に収容保持され、遊技盤の前方を覆うガラス窓を通して遊技領域を遊技者に臨ませている。前枠の後方には、遊技盤から排出される遊技済み球を処理する処理機構や、入賞状態に応じて遊技球を払い出す賞球機構等を備えた裏セット盤(裏機構盤とも称される)が裏セット盤ヒンジ機構を介して後方に横開き開閉可能に組み付けられ、常には遊技盤の後面を覆って閉止保持される。

ここで、遊技盤は、パチンコ機の機種変更に対する生産対応の柔軟性を確保し、またいわゆる盤面替えや遊技盤の保守交換等に迅速に対応できるように、主要な形状寸法が共通化されており、一般的に、前枠に遊技盤の外形よりも幾分大きめな枠形状に形成された収容枠に着脱可能に収容され、各部に設けられた閉鎖クランプや固定レバー等の施錠具によってセット保持されるように構成される。なお遊技盤の着脱形態には、遊技盤を前枠の前方(前面側)から着脱する遊技盤前方着脱形態と、前枠の後方(後面側)から着脱する遊技盤後方着脱形態とがあり、いずれかの形態が採用されている。

ところで、近年のパチンコ機では、ゲーム展開を多様化させるために液晶表示装置が採用されるとともにそのサイズが年々大型化し、また画面表示の高度化に伴って画像表示基板が大型化し、あるいは入賞装置やランプ装置が複雑化するなど、遊技盤に組み付けられる各種遊技構成部品が高度化、複雑化して遊技盤の重量が増加の一途を辿っている。このため、遊技盤の装着作業は、大型かつ重量のある遊技盤を支持して収容枠に収容し、さらに片手で遊技盤を支持しながら施錠具を固定操作しなければならず、熟練作業者にとっても煩雑で重労働であるという問題があった。また遊技盤を取り外す脱着作業は、施錠具を解放状態にして遊技盤を収容枠から引き出す操作を行うが、このときには収容枠と遊技盤との間のわずかな隙間を利用して遊技盤を注意深く引き出す必要があり、また遊技盤を収容枠から引き出す際に遊技盤の全重量が急に作用することもあって、装着作業と同様に煩雑かつ重労働とされ、適切な支持を怠ると遊技盤を落下させてしまうおそれがあるという問題があった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
確かに、上記特許文献1に開示された遊技盤の開閉着脱機構によれば、遊技盤を収容枠の後方に横開き開閉および着脱可能に支持させることができ、これにより従来重労働とされた遊技盤着脱作業の作業性を改善できそうである。しかしながら、このような遊技盤の開閉着脱機構では、遊技盤ヒンジ機構が前枠ヒンジ機構や裏セット盤ヒンジ機構と同じ側縁側に設けられていたため、遊技盤を収容枠に装着する際に、前枠と裏セット盤とに挟まれた奥部で、収容枠側ヒンジ金具および遊技盤側ヒンジ金具の軸ピンと軸孔の細かい位置合わせをして嵌合させる必要があり、この位置合わせの作業が案外煩雑であるという課題があった。

また、遊技盤の後面側(裏面側)には、入賞球を検出する入賞検出器や電動入賞具を開閉させる電磁石、ソレノイドなどの電気部品や可動部品、入賞球を流下させる球通路が形成された通路部材などが取り付けられており、これら各種部品の点検作業や球通路の清掃作業等を行う必要がある。このような日常的な保守作業は、従来では、前枠を前方に開放し遊技盤を収容枠に保持させたまま前枠の後方から行われていたが、裏セット盤ヒンジ機構が設けられた側縁側ではすぐ側方に位置する裏セット盤の存在によりこの側方領域の保守作業が行いにくいという問題や、遊技者用の椅子との位置関係で作業者が立てる作業領域が制限され苦しい作業姿勢を強いられるという問題など、遊技盤後面側の保守作業を行う上での作業性について改善すべき課題があった。

上記目的達成のため、本発明は、固定保持用の外枠と、この外枠に互いの一側縁側に設けられた前枠ヒンジ機構を介して前方に横開き開閉可能に組み付けられた開閉搭載用の前枠と、前面に遊技領域を有し前枠に設けられた収容枠に前枠の後方から収容保持される遊技盤と、前枠ヒンジ機構と同じ一側縁側に設けられた裏セット盤ヒンジ機構を介して前枠に後方に横開き開閉可能に組み付けられる裏セット盤とを備えた遊技機における遊技盤の支持機構である。この支持機構では、遊技盤が前枠および遊技盤における一側縁側と反対側の他側縁側に設けられた遊技盤ヒンジ機構により、収容枠の後方に横開き開閉および着脱が可能に収容されるとともに、遊技盤および裏セット盤には、前枠が外枠の前方に開放され裏セット盤が前枠の後方に開放されさらに遊技盤が前枠の後方に開放された遊技盤開放状態において相互に係脱可能な係合手段(例えば、実施形態における係合軸71と受け金具72とからなる遊技盤開放保持機構70等)を備え、上記遊技盤開放状態で係合手段を係合させることにより、遊技盤が前枠の後方に開放された開放姿勢に保持されるように構成される。

以下、本発明の好ましい実施形態について添付図面を参照しながら説明する。本発明に係る遊技盤の支持機構を備えた遊技機の一例として、図1にパチンコ機PMの正面図を、図2にパチンコ機PMの背面図を、図3に外枠を取り外して裏セット盤を開放した状態におけるパチンコ機PMの背面図を示しており、まずこれらの図面を参照してパチンコ機PMの全体概要について説明する。

以上説明したように、本発明は、固定保持用の外枠に前枠ヒンジ機構を介して前方に横開き開閉可能に組み付けられた前枠と、前枠に設けられた収容枠に前枠の後方から収容保持される遊技盤と、前枠ヒンジ機構と同じ一側縁側に設けられた裏セット盤ヒンジ機構を介して前枠に後方に横開き開閉可能に組み付けられる裏セット盤とを備えた遊技機において、遊技盤が前枠および遊技盤における裏セット盤ヒンジ機構等と反対側の他側縁側に設けられた遊技盤ヒンジ機構により、収容枠の後方に横開き開閉および着脱が可能に収容されるとともに、遊技盤および裏セット盤には、前枠および裏セット盤が開放されてさらに遊技盤が前枠の後方に開放された遊技盤開放状態において相互に係脱可能な係合手段を備え、遊技盤開放状態で係合手段を係合させることにより、遊技盤が前枠の後方に開放された開放姿勢に保持されるように遊技盤の支持機構が構成される。
