【発明の属する技術分野】
この発明は、縦型遊技機の開閉連結装置に関し、更に詳細には、遊技ホールの設置台に縦向きの設置姿勢で遊技に供される縦型遊技機において、設置台に固定的に設置される固定体の前側に、開閉体を着脱および開閉可能に連結するための開閉連結装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
例えば、パチンコ機やアレンジボール機等に代表されるこの種の縦型遊技機では、遊技ホールの設置台に固定的に設置される固定体としての外枠の開口前面側に、各種の必要な遊技構成部材を搭載した開閉体としての前枠が、両枠側縁の上,下部に配設された開閉連結装置を利用して開閉(横開き)可能に組付けられて、1台単位で構成されている。前記開閉連結装置については、従来から最も一般化されている形式として軸および孔を含む嵌挿連結タイプがあり、例えば前記外枠の一側端に回動支軸を設けると共に、前記前枠の一側端に軸孔を設け、前記回動支軸を前記軸孔へ嵌挿させることにより、外枠に対して前枠を開閉可能に連結支持するようになっている。

しかしながら前述した開閉連結装置では、常には前枠の開閉中心が固定されているため、前枠を外枠から開放するに際して、該前枠に搭載した遊技構成部材が隣接する遊技機や台間サンド等に干渉することがあった。このため、前枠の充分な開放角度(例えば90度以上)を確保できなかったり、または不用意に勢いよく開放させて前記遊技構成部材を破損させてしまう等の問題が発生していた。

そこで前述した問題を解消するため、前記外枠と前記前枠とを、複数のアーム部材を連繋して構成したリンク機構で連結支持し、これらアーム部材のリンク運動を利用して前枠の回動中心を移動させるようにした開閉連結装置も提案されている。このようなリンク機構からなる開閉連結装置によれば、前枠を外枠から開放させるに際し、該前枠を外枠の前方側や中央側へ偏倚させることが可能となるから、隣接する遊技機や台間サンド等と該前枠との干渉が好適に回避されると共に、充分な開放角度を確保し得るようになる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、リンク機構からなる従来の開閉連結装置は、複数のアーム部材から構成されているため、部品点数の増加に伴うコストアップを招来する問題を内在していた。しかも、構造が複雑であるから組立て作業に手間や時間がかかり、これもコストアップを招来する原因となっている。更には、構造が複雑であるから故障が発生し易いと共にスムーズに動かなくなることもあり、前枠の確実かつ円滑な開放変位を保証し得ない欠点も指摘される。

更に、前述したリンク機構からなる開閉連結装置では、各アーム部材同士が容易な分離が不能に連結されていた。従って、例えば前記前枠を前記外枠から組み外す必要が生じた場合には、▲1▼前枠または外枠に対して開閉連結装置を固定しているネジを緩み外し、これら開閉連結装置と前枠または外枠を分離させる、▲2▼アーム部材同士を連結している支軸を専用工具を使用して取外し、両アーム部材同士を分離する、等の方法を採って前枠と外枠とを分離するしかなく、非常に手間と時間がかかると共に煩雑な作業を伴っていた。すなわち、リンク機構からなる従来の開閉連結装置は、外枠に対する前枠の着脱容易化を図るという技術的思想は全くなかった。

【発明の目的】
本発明は、前述した課題を好適に解決するべく提案されたもので、構成部品点数を最小限とした簡単な構成とすることで、製造コストの低減、組立作業の容易化および合理化、固定体に対する開閉体の円滑な開放の保証等を図る一方、構成部材同士を容易に連結・分離し得る構造とすることで固定体に対する開閉体の着脱の容易化を図った縦型遊技機の開閉連結装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前述した課題を克服し、所期の目的を好適に達成するため本発明は、設置台に固定的に設置される固定体の前側に、開閉体を着脱および開閉可能に連結するための縦型遊技機の開閉連結装置であって、
前記開閉連結装置は、
前記固定体の一側端の所要位置に配設され、該固定体の横方向に延在するガイド溝および支軸孔を設けた第1支持部材と、
前記開閉体の一側端の所要位置に配設され、前記第1支持部材のガイド溝に係脱可能に係合する第1支軸を設けた第2支持部材と、
前記第2支持部材の所要位置に第3支軸を介して一方の端部が枢支されると共に、他方の端部に設けた第2支軸を前記第1支持部材の支軸孔に係合させることで該第1支持部材に枢支可能なアーム部材と、
前記アーム部材の他方の端部に配設されて前記第2支軸を支持し、該第2支軸を前記支軸孔側に突出させて該支軸孔に嵌入可能とした第1位置と、前記第2支軸を支軸孔から退避させて該支軸孔に嵌入不能とした第2位置とに変位させ得る支軸係脱手段とからなり、
前記第1支軸を前記ガイド溝に係合すると共に、前記支軸係脱手段により前記第2支軸を前記第1位置へ変位させて該第2支軸を前記支軸孔に嵌入することで、前記第2支持部材を前記第1支持部材に連結して前記開閉体前記固定体に組付け、
前記支軸係脱手段により前記第2支軸を前記第2位置へ変位させて該第2支軸と前記支軸孔との係合を解除すると共に、前記第1支軸と前記ガイド溝との係合を解除することで、前記第2支持部材を前記第1支持部材から分離して前記開閉体を前記固定体から組外すよう構成したことを特徴とする。

【作用】
開閉体を固定体の前側に連結するための開閉連結装置は、固定体側に配設される第1支持部材と、開閉体側に配設される第2支持部材と、第2支軸および第3支軸により両支持部材に回動可能に端部連結されるアーム部材と、このアーム部材の端部に配設されて、前記第2支軸を前記第2支持部材に設けた支軸孔に嵌入可能な第1位置および該第2支軸を前記支軸孔に嵌入不能な第2位置とに変位させ得る支軸係脱手段とから構成される。
固定体に対する開閉体の組付け時には、前記第2支持部材に設けた第1支軸を前記第1支持部材に設けたガイド溝に係合すると共に、前記支軸係脱部材により前記第2支軸を第1位置へ変位させて該第2支軸を前記支軸孔へ嵌入することで、第2支持部材を第1支持部材に連結して開閉体を固定体に組付けることができる。
固定体に対する開閉体の組外し時には、前記支軸係脱部材により前記第2支軸を前記第2位置へ変位させて該第2支軸と前記支軸孔との係合を解除すると共に、前記第1支軸と前記ガイド溝との係合を解除することで、第2支持部材と第1支持部材とを分離して開閉体を固定体から組外すことができる。
なお第1支持部材に連結された第2支持部材は、前記第2支軸を中心とした前記アーム部材の回動変位に基づく前記第3支軸の円弧移動と、前記第1支軸のガイド溝に沿う移動とにより、前記第1支持部材に対して横方向へスライド変位しながら回動変位する。従って開閉体の開放時には、前述した第2支持部材の姿勢変位に基づき、当該開閉体全体が前記固定体の前面中央方向へ移動しつつ開放するようになり、側方に配設された遊技機や台間サンド等に開閉体が干渉しない。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に、本発明に係る縦型遊技機の開閉連結装置につき、好適な実施例を挙げて添付図面を参照しながら、以下詳細に説明する。なお本発明は、遊技ホールの設置台に固定的に設置される固定体と、この固定体の前側に開閉可能に配設される開閉体を有する各種の縦型遊技機、例えばパチンコ機やアレンジボール機、およびパチンコ式スロットマシンやメダル式スロットマシン等を対象とする。そこで実施例では、縦型遊技機Pとして、設置台に固定的に設置されて外郭用固定保持枠をなす固定体としての外枠Aと、各種構成部材(ガラス扉、上球皿および下球皿、打球発射装置、遊技盤等)を固定設置するための搭載用開閉枠をなす開閉体としての前枠Bとを有し、外枠Aの前側に前枠Bが開閉可能に配設されるパチンコ機を例示しながら説明する。

縦型遊技機Pにおける固定体としての外枠Aは、図1および図2に示すように、上,下および左,右の4本の枠部材10,13,11,12を枠組み連結して縦長方形に構成され、全ての枠部材10,11,12,13に亘る開口前面域に、前枠Bを整合し得るようになっている。一例として外枠Aは、木材から形成された上枠部材10および左枠部材11を共通用として、樹脂材から成形された右枠部材12および下枠部材13を2通りのサイズのものを選択的に連結することにより、一般に「関東枠、関西枠」と呼称区分されているサイズの異なる2種類の何れにも対応し得るようになっている。そして、外枠Aの左上方の外側隅角部には、後述する第1の開閉連結装置C1の第1支持部材20を配設するための第1設置部14が設けられていると共に、該外枠Aの左下方の内側隅角部には、後述する第2の開閉連結装置C2の第1支持部材20を配設するための第2設置部15が設けられている。なお、メダル式スロットマシンにおける固定体は、具体的な図示は省略するが、制御基板、図柄可変表示装置、パチンコ球やメダル等の遊技媒体の貯留払出装置等を収容設置して、遊技ホールの設置台に固定的に設置される箱状の筐体とされる。また、パチンコ式スロットマシンにおける固定体は、前記パチンコ機における枠状の外枠Aのような形態や、前記メダル式スロットマシンにおける箱状の筐体のような形態等とされる。

一方、縦型遊技機Pにおける開閉体としての前枠Bは、前記外枠Aの開口前面域に整合するサイズに設定されており、その前面側には図示しないガラス扉、上球皿および下球皿、打球発射装置、遊技盤等の各種構成部材が設置固定される。但し、この前枠の具体的構成および前記各種構成部材等は本願発明の要旨ではなく、また説明の便宜化および理解の容易化を図るため、該前枠は単純形状の板状部材として図示すると共に各種構成部材の図示は省略する。そして、前枠Bの左上方の外側隅角部には、後述する第1の開閉連結装置C1の第2支持部材21を配設するための第1設置部16が設けられていると共に、該前枠Bの左下方の外側隅角部には、後述する第2の開閉連結装置C2の第2支持部材21を配設するための第2設置部17が設けられている。なお、メダル式スロットマシンにおける開閉体は、具体的な図示は省略するが、図柄透視表示部、スタートボタン、ストップボタン等を設けて、前記筐体の前側に開閉可能に設置される扉状の前側化粧体とされる。また、パチンコ式スロットマシンにおける開閉体は、前記パチンコ機における前枠Bのような形態や、前記メダル式スロットマシンにおける扉状の前側化粧体のような形態等とされる。

本実施例の縦型遊技機Pでは、図1および図2に示すように、前記外枠Aの開口前面域に対して前記前枠Bを着脱および開閉可能に連結支持するために、両枠A,Bの夫々の左側縁における上部同士を連結支持する第1の開閉連結装置C1と、両枠A,Bの夫々の左側縁における下部同士を連結支持する第2の開閉連結装置C2とを有している。これら第1の開閉連結装置C1および第2の開閉連結装置C2は、図1および図2に示すように、前記外枠Aの左側端の所要位置に配設される第1支持部材20と、前記前枠Bの左側端の所要位置に配設される第2支持部材21と、これら第1支持部材20および第2支持部材21の所要位置に夫々枢支されるアーム部材22と、このアーム部材22の一端部に配設されて該アーム部材22と第1支持部材20とを連結したり分離したりする支軸係脱部材(支軸係脱手段)23とから構成されている。

(第1の開閉連結装置)
第1の開閉連結装置C1における前記第1支持部材20は、前記外枠Aにおける左上方の外側隅角部において左枠部材11の上端側から上枠部材10の左端側へ凹設された前記第1設置部14に固定される本体部材40と、この本体部材40の前縁左側に固定される軸支部材41と、この軸支部材41に回動可能に配設される開閉レバー(開閉部材)42と、前記本体部材40の前縁右側に固定されるアーム保持部材43とから構成されている。そして、前記軸支部材41およびアーム保持部材43は、前記本体部材40とは別部材として形成され、該本体部材40に対してネジで固定される。

(本体部材)
前記本体部材40は、例えば所要形状に打抜いた板状金属片を屈曲成形して前記第1設置部14に整合する正面L形を呈し、左枠部材11に密着する垂直板部44と、この垂直板部44の上縁から直角に連設されて上枠部材10に密着する水平板部45とから構成されている。これら垂直板部44および水平板部45の適宜位置には複数個のネジ用通孔46が穿設され、夫々のネジ用通孔46に挿通したネジ47を前記外枠Aへねじ込むことにより、第1支持部材20が前記第1設置部14に強固に固定される。なお前記水平板部45の前端には、該水平板部45の前方へ略水平に延出する第1庇部24が一体的に連設され、この第1庇部24の下面に前記軸支部材41およびアーム保持部材43が固定される。更に前記水平板部45の右端前側には、該水平板部45の右側方へ略水平に延出する第2庇部25が一体的に連設され、この第2庇部25には、前記アーム部材22を回動可能に枢支するための第2支軸28が係合される支軸孔31が穿設されている。

(軸支部材)
前記軸支部材41は、例えば横長板状に成形されたアルミニウム製であって、正面左側に設定された厚肉の溝形成部50と、正面右側に設定された薄肉の設置部51とから構成されている(図3,図11,図12)。前記溝形成部50には、軸支部材41の長手方向(外枠Aの横方向)へ延在する所要長のガイド溝30が下方に開口した状態で形成されており、前記第2支持部材21に設けた後述の第1支軸27が、該ガイド溝30に沿って移動可能に係合するようになっている。そして前記ガイド溝30は、前記設置部51の側を指向する右側の端部に、前記第1支軸27の係脱(通過)を許容する出入口52が形成され、更にこの出入口52に臨む位置には、前記第1支軸27をこの位置で仮に保持させ得る凹部30aが形成されている。一方、前記設置部51には、前記開閉レバー42を設置することを前提として、該開閉レバー42を旋回動可能に支持するための支持ピン48を固定する支持孔53が穿設されている(図3)。また、設置部51に臨む前記溝形成部50の端面には、前記開閉レバー42の旋回動の範囲を規制するストッパ片54が突出形成されている。

(開閉レバー)
前記開閉レバー42は、前述した軸支部材41の設置部51の下面で旋回動し得るハンドルレバータイプとされ、図3,図11および図12に示すように、前記支持ピン48に挿通支持される基部55および該基部55から右側へ一体的に延出した摘み部56からなり、全体が平面略P字形状を呈する合成樹脂成形材である。そして前記基部55の上面には、当該開閉レバー42を図11の反時計方向へ回動付勢する捻りバネ58を収容するための収容凹部57が形成されている。また前記基部55の前面左側には、前記第1支軸27が当接される「へ」字状の案内面59が凹設される一方、該基部55の左側面には、前記ストッパ片54に当接可能な第1回動規制片60および第2回動規制片61が突出形成されている。

このような開閉レバー42は、前記捻りバネ58の付勢力に基づき、常には前記ガイド溝30の出入口52を閉成した第1位置(閉成位置)側へ付勢され、前記摘み部56に対する指先操作力または前記案内面59に対する前記第1支軸27の当接力により、前記捻りバネ58の付勢力に抗して前記出入口52を開放した第2位置(開放位置)側へ回動変位し得るようになっている。すなわち開閉レバー42は、前記第2回動規制片61が前記ストッパ片54に当接することで前記第1位置に保持され、この第1位置に姿勢保持されている状態では、前記第1回動規制片60がガイド溝30の出入口52に臨んでいるため、該出入口52を閉成して第1支軸27の通過を不能とし、前記第2位置へ変位した状態では、前記第1回動規制片60が前記出入口52から退避するため、該出入口52を開放して第1支軸27の通過を可能とするようになる。なお、開閉レバー42が第1位置に保持されている状態では、溝形成部50の右端および開閉レバー42の案内面59とにより前方へ拡開した軸受入口62が広く形成されて、前記第1支軸27を広角範囲から受入れ得るようになっている。また開閉レバー42は、前記第2位置へ変位した状態では、前記第1回動規制片60が前記ストッパ片54に当接するから、これ以上の図示時計方向への回動変位が規制されるようになっている。

(アーム保持部材)
前記アーム保持部材43は側面形状が傾倒U字形を呈し、前記第1支持部材20に固定される取付片63と、この取付片63と適宜間隔を以て水平前方へ延出する保持片64とからなり、前記アーム部材22の長片部80が、これら取付片63と保持片64との間へ前側から出入りするようになっている。このアーム保持部材43は、第1支持部材20に対して下方から連結されたアーム部材22を、常には前記保持片64で下方から保持することで(図15および図16)、自重や前記支軸係脱部材23の重量等によってアーム部材22が撓曲変形することを規制し、前記第2支軸28が支軸孔31から不用意に外れてアーム部材22と第1支持部材20との連結が解除される不都合を防止するよう機能する。

(第2支持部材)
第1の開閉連結装置C1における前記第2支持部材21は、図3に示すように、例えば所要形状に打抜いた板状金属片を屈曲成形した一体成形部材であって、前記前枠Bにおける上端左部に凹設された前記第1設置部16に整合する側面L形を呈し、該前枠Bの前面に密着する垂直板部70と該前枠Bの上端面に密着する水平板部71とが略直角に連設されている。前記垂直板部70の適宜位置には複数個のネジ用通孔72が穿設されており、これらネジ用通孔72に挿通したネジ73を前枠Bへねじ込むことにより、第2支持部材21が前記第1設置部16に強固に固定される。そして前記水平板部71の左端には、該水平板部71の左側方へ略水平に延出する第3庇部26が一体的に連設され、この第3庇部26の上面には、垂直上方に立設して前記ガイド溝30に係合可能な第1支軸27が、例えばカシメ付け等により固定されている。また前記水平板部71の略中央には、前記アーム部材22を回動可能に枢支する第3支軸29を固定するための支持孔74が穿設されている。なお、前記水平板部71と垂直板部70との連設部における中央には、前記アーム部材22の先端部との干渉を回避するための開口部75が形成されている。

(アーム部材)
第1の開閉連結装置C1における前記アーム部材22は、長手方向の途中で屈曲した平面「ヘ字形」でかつ中間部位に段部を設けた板状金属片であって、前記第1支持部材20の側の長片部80と前記第2支持部材21の側の短片部81とが、例えば約30度の角度で連設されている。前記長片部80の先端部には、前記支軸係脱部材23が嵌挿する設置孔82が穿設されており、該設置孔82に嵌挿して固定した支軸係脱部材23に設けた第2支軸28を第1支持部材20の前記支軸孔31に嵌入することにより、当該アーム部材22が該第1支持部材20に対して回動可能に連結される。また前記短片部81の先端部には、前記第3支軸29が嵌挿する軸挿通孔83が穿設されており、該軸挿通孔83に嵌挿した第3支軸29を第2支持部材21の前記支持孔74に固定することにより、該第2支持部材21が当該アーム部材22に対して回動可能に連結される。

(支軸係脱部材)
第1の開閉連結装置C1における前記支軸係脱部材23は、図3〜図5に示すように、外周面にフランジを有する円筒体状を呈し、前記アーム部材22の設置孔82に配設固定される本体85と、この本体85の挿通孔86へ回動可能に挿通支持され、先端部に前記第2支軸28を一体的に設けた軸体87と、前記本体85に径方向から係止保持され、前記軸体87の脱抜防止および姿勢保持を図るクリップ体88とから構成されている。前記クリップ体88は、例えばピアノ線等を略U字形に成形して平行な2本の係止棒部88a,88aを有し、それ自体の弾力により両係止棒部88a,88aが相互に離間するような拡幅変形が可能とされている。そして、前記本体85の中間部に設けたスリット89,89に両係止棒部88a,88aを係止させることで該本体85に脱落不能に保持される一方、常態では、該本体85の挿通孔86内周面よりも両係止棒部88a,88aが半径方向内方へ臨んでいる(図5(a))。また前記軸体87は、前記第2支軸28と、スリット91,91を設けた基端部90と、これら第2支軸28と基端部90との間に設けた係止凹部92と、前記基端部90に一体的に設けた操作部93とから形成されている。このような支軸係脱部材23は、前記軸体87の挿通位置を調節することにより、前記第2支軸28を本体85(アーム部材22)の上端から突出させて前記支軸孔31に嵌入可能とした第1位置(図4(b),図5(e))と、前記第2支軸28を本体85(アーム部材22)の上端から退避させて前記支軸孔31に嵌入不能とした第2位置(図4(a),図5(c))とに変位させ得るようになっている。

前記支軸係脱部材23の態様について更に詳述すると、前記クリップ体88を装着した本体85に対して前記軸体87を下方から挿入して押圧すると(図5(a))、先ず第2支軸28の先端テーパ部が該クリップ体88を拡幅変形させ、該第2支軸28が挿通孔86内へ挿通することが許容される(図5(b))。そして、更に軸体87を下方から押圧すると、第2支軸28がクリップ体88を通過して前記係止凹部92が臨むようになるから、該クリップ体88の拡幅変形が解除されて両係止棒部88a,88aが係止凹部92へ近接移動し、これにより両係止棒部88a,88aと第2支軸28とが係合するようになる(図5(c))。すなわち、図5(c)に示す状態が前記第2支軸28の第2位置とされ、クリップ体88と該第2支軸28の下端との係合により本体85に対する軸体87の脱抜防止が図られている。

そして、図5(c)の状態から更に軸体87を下方から押圧すると、前記基端部90が前記クリップ体88を再び拡幅変形させ、該基端部90が挿通孔86内へ挿通することが許容される(図5(d))。そして、基端部90が完全に挿入された状態において、前記操作部93を指先で摘みながら軸体87を略90度回動変位させると両スリット91,91が前記クリップ体88に整合するようになり、両係止棒部88a,88aが該スリット91,91の側へ近接移動して両係止棒部88a,88aと基端部90とが係合するようになる(図5(e))。すなわち、図5(e)に示す状態が第2支軸28の前記第1位置とされ、クリップ体88と基端部90との係合により、本体85に対する第2支軸28の没入(退避)防止が図られている。
