本発明は、所定の遊技領域が形成された遊技盤を遊技機の前面側から着脱可能に収容する枠部材と、この枠部材に収容された遊技盤を固定保持する固定手段とを備え、固定手段により遊技盤が固定保持された状態で遊技に供される遊技機に関する。

【従来の技術】
上記のような遊技機としてパチンコ機、アレンジボール機、いわゆる雀球遊技機などがある。この種の遊技機の代表例として例示されるパチンコ機では、案内レールで囲まれた遊技領域内に多数本の遊技釘や風車、種々の入賞具等が所定のゲージ設定で配設された遊技盤を有し、この遊技盤の遊技領域に打球発射装置から遊技球を打ち出して入賞具に落入させ入賞条件に応じた賞球の払出を受けることで、その賞球の増減を通して遊技を展開するように構成されている。

遊技盤は、上下の球皿や打球発射装置の操作ハンドルなどが設けられた前枠の前面側もしくは裏面側、または、遊技球を貯留するタンク部材や球払出装置などの賞球機構が設けられて前枠の裏側に配設される裏機構枠の前面側などに取り付けられ、前枠の前面側に横開き開閉可能に取り付けられたガラス扉を通して遊技領域を遊技者に臨ませるように構成される。

ここで、遊技盤の取付構造は、機種変更時における組み立て工程の対応の迅速化や遊技施設における遊技盤の交換作業容易化等のため着脱交換可能に構成することが望ましい。このため、例えば、遊技盤を遊技機の正面側から前枠の前面側に着脱させる形態(本明細書において便宜的に「前枠前方着脱形態」という)の遊技機にあっては、ガラス扉の背後に位置する前枠の前面側に遊技盤の外形寸法よりもわずかに大きめな枠寸法を有する額縁状の収容枠を設けて前枠の前方から遊技盤を着脱可能に収容させるとともに、この収容枠に遊技盤を固定する固定手段を設け、収容枠に収容された遊技盤を固定保持するように構成されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、遊技盤を前枠に収容して固定保持するためには、着脱方向と反対側の枠部に遊技盤を前後方向に支持する支持構造が必要であり、例えば、上記した従来の前枠前方着脱形態の遊技機では、収容枠が額縁状に形成されて遊技盤の裏面を支持する後方支持面が形成されていた。このため、収容枠の枠部の厚さは遊技盤の基板となる化粧板(いわゆるベニヤ)の板厚に後方支持面の成形厚さを加えた寸法となり、収容枠を含む前枠全体の前後方向寸法が大型化するという問題があった。

また、前枠の後方にはタンク部材や球払出装置などの賞球機構、遊技盤の裏面側に排出される遊技済み球の処理経路などが形成された裏機構枠が、一般に横開き開閉可能に取り付けられており、後方支持面が収容枠の裏面側に張り出されれると裏機構枠との整合性が悪化するという問題もあった。

本発明は、このような問題に鑑みて成されたものであり、収容枠を含む遊技機全体の前後方向寸法を小型に構成するとともに、裏機構枠などとの整合性を高めた遊技盤の固定保持機構を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するため、本発明は、遊技釘および入賞具を有して所定の遊技領域が形成された遊技盤と、この遊技盤を収容可能な前面側に開口した収容空間を有した枠状に形成され、遊技盤を遊技機の前面側から収容空間内に着脱可能に収容する枠部材(例えば実施形態における前枠2)と、収容空間内に遊技盤を収容するときに遊技盤の下端部を収容空間の下部において係止保持する係止手段(例えば実施形態における係止機構50)と、係止手段により下端部が係止保持された遊技盤を下端部を中心として後方に揺動させて収容空間内に収容して枠部材に仮止めする仮止め手段(例えば実施形態における仮支持機構60)と、仮止め手段により仮止めされた遊技盤を仮止め手段を介して枠部材に固定保持させる固定手段(例えば実施形態における固定機構70,80等)とを備え、遊技盤が収容空間内に収容されて固定された状態で遊技に供される遊技機に関するものである。そのうえで、枠部材には収容空間の周囲において収容空間の内方に突出して収容空間内に収容された遊技盤を後面側から支持する複数の当て板部を有し、遊技盤の後面側には、収容空間に収容された状態で当て板部とそれぞれ対向する部分に前方側に窪んで当て板部を受容する複数の当て板受容部が形成されており、遊技盤を収容空間内に収容したときに、当て板部がそれぞれ対応する当て板受容部に受容されて枠部材の後面側と遊技盤の後面側とが平坦になるように構成されている。さらに、係止手段が、収容空間の下部に位置して枠部材に取り付けられるとともに収容空間の前端に沿って上方に突出する弾性変形可能な係止辺部を備えた係止金具から構成され、係止辺部の下部における収容空間の前後間隔が遊技盤の前後厚さより大きく、係止片部の上部における収容空間の前後間隔が遊技盤の前後厚さより小さく設定されており、遊技盤を収容空間内に収容保持した状態で、係止片部の上部が遊技盤に当接して弾性変形し、その弾性変形力で遊技盤を後方に押圧するように構成されている。

このような構成の固定保持機構では、枠部材に収容空間の内方に突出する当て板部が設けられ、遊技盤の面側には当て板部を受容する当て板受容部が形成されて、遊技盤を枠部材に収容させて固定手段により固定したときに、当て板部材が当て板受容部に受容されて枠部材の面側と遊技盤の面側とが平坦になるように構成される。このため、従来、遊技盤の裏面よりも後方に形成されていた後方支持面を削除して収容枠の枠部の厚さを化粧板の板厚と同程度に収めることができ、収容枠を含む遊技機全体の前後方向寸法を小型に構成することができる。また、遊技盤が枠部材に固定されたときに枠部材の面側と遊技盤の面側とが平坦になるため、枠部材の背後に位置する部材との整合性が良好な固定保持機構を提供することができる。
なお、上述の構成の固定保持機構において、仮止め手段が、基端部が枠部材に取り付けられるとともに先端部が収容空間内に片持ち状に突出し先端側に係止部を有した弾性変形可能な仮止めアームを備えて構成され、仮止めアームを収容空間から外方に向かって弾性変形させて収容空間内に遊技盤を着脱可能であり、収容空間内に遊技盤を収容した状態で仮止めアームの弾性変形を戻すことにより係止部が遊技盤に係止して遊技盤を仮止め支持するように構成されているのが好ましい。
さらに、固定手段が枠部材に回動可能に取り付けられた固定金具を備え、固定金具が遊技盤を仮止め支持した仮止めアームに近接して位置して仮止めアームの外方に向かう弾性変形を規制する規制位置および固定金具が仮止めアームから離れて仮止めアームが外方に向かって弾性変形可能な状態とする解放位置に回動可能であるのが好ましい。

なお、上記「枠部材」とは、遊技盤を着脱可能に収容して遊技領域をガラス扉に臨むように配設させる部材をいい、例えば、遊技盤を収容する収容枠が前枠の前面側に設けられる場合(前枠前方着脱形態の遊技機)における前枠や、収容枠が裏機構枠の前面側に設けられる場合(裏機構枠前方着脱形態の遊技機)における裏機構枠などをいう。また「収容姿勢」とは遊技盤を枠部材の内側に位置させた姿勢をいい、遊技盤を枠部材の内部に位置させた収容姿勢から、固定手段によって遊技盤を固定保持させる過程で押圧力等により遊技盤が一定程度変位するような場合における変位前の姿勢を含む概念である。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の好ましい実施形態について図面を参照しながら説明する。本発明に係る遊技盤の固定保持機構を備えた遊技機の代表例として、遊技盤を遊技機の正面側から前枠の前面側に着脱する前枠前方着脱形態のパチンコ機PMを図1および図2に示しており、まず、これら両図を参照しながらパチンコ機PMの全体構成について要約説明する。ここで、図1はパチンコ機PMを正面側から見た正面図、図2はパチンコ機PMを裏面側から見た背面図である。なお、図2では遊技盤の裏面中央部の記載を省略している。

パチンコ機PMは、外郭方形枠サイズに構成されて縦向きの固定保持枠をなす外枠1の開口前面に、これに合わせた方形枠サイズに構成されて開閉搭載枠をなす前枠2が互いの左側縁に配設された上下のヒンジ機構3a,3bにより横開き開閉および着脱が可能に取り付けられ、常には右側縁に設けられた施錠装置4を利用して外枠1に閉鎖施錠された状態で保持される。

前枠2の上部には、後に詳述する収容枠10が形成されており、この収容枠10に遊技盤20が固定保持されてその前面域がガラス扉5に臨むように配設される。遊技盤20は所定形状にルータ加工された厚さ19mm程度の積層合板の表面にセルを貼り付けた化粧板(ベニヤとも称される)21を基板として構成される。化粧板21の前面側には、帯状の外レール24aおよび内レール24bが円弧状に固設され、これらの案内レール24a,24bで囲まれた内側に遊技領域PAが区画される。遊技領域PAには、多数本の遊技釘とともにランプ風車25aや一般風車25b等の風車25、一般入賞具26aや始動入賞具26b並びに大入賞口を備えたアタッカー26c等の入賞具26、および遊技の進行状況に応じて所定の図柄を表示させる図柄表示装置28などが取り付けられ、遊技領域PAの下端には入賞具26に入賞せずに落下した遊技球を遊技盤20の裏面側に排出させるアウト口27が設けられている。案内レール24a,24bの外側には効果照明を行うためのランプ具23が取り付けられている。

なお、化粧板21の裏面下端部には逃げ面42eが形成されているため、遊技盤20を傾斜姿勢で挿抜し、あるいは上下に揺動させても化粧板21の下端部が収容枠10の後端面よりも後方に突出することがなく、裏セット盤30が収容枠10の後端面と密着するように閉鎖保持されている状態で着脱作業を行っても、裏セット盤30に無理な応力を発生させるようなことがない。

なお、実施例では係止金具における係止辺部51bをベース部51aに対して直角に折り曲げ、係止辺部51bの後面と収容枠10の後端面との間の前後方向寸法が化粧板21の板厚と略同一の間隔を有して鉛直上方に突出する形態を例示したが、係止機構50は係る形態に限定されるものではなく、化粧板21の下端部を係止可能なものであればよい。例えば、実施例と同様の係止金具を配設する場合にあっては、係止辺部の下部で収容枠の後端面との間に化粧板21の板厚よりも幾分大きめの間隔を有し、係止辺部の上部で収容枠の後端面との間に化粧板21の板厚よりも幾分小さめの間隔を有して係止辺部51bをベース部51aに対して直角よりも小さい角度に折り曲げ、やや後傾姿勢で突出させる形態としてもよい。このような形態の係止機構では、化粧板21の板厚に多少のばらつきがあっても係止金具が弾性的に吸収し、化粧板との間に隙間が生じたり係止金具に過大な応力を発生させたりすることがない。
