Claims (14)

  1. 受容媒体上にイメージを平版印刷する方法であって、
    (a)平板印刷プレートを提供する工程であって、この平板プレートは、(i)基板と;(ii)陽イオン又はモノマー若しくはオリゴマーを重合させることができるフリーラジカル、前記モノマー若しくはオリゴマーの重合を開始させる開始剤、及び赤外線吸収染料又は顔料を有する感熱性層とを有し;前記感熱性層は、赤外線レーザによって露光されることにより硬化可能であり、インキ及び/又は湿し水に可溶性又は分散性があってかつオン・プレス現像が可能であり、インキ及びインキ用の不粘性の液体からなるグループから選択された少なくとも1つの印刷液に対する前記基板の親和性又は非親和性とは略逆の親和性又は非親和性を示すものである、工程と;
    (b)前記赤外線レーザによって前記プレートを所望のイメージに露光して、前記露光範囲の感熱性層を硬化させる工程と;
    (c)前記露光されたプレートを平版印刷機のインキ及び/又は湿し水と接触させて、非硬化範囲の感熱性層を取り除き、前記プレートから前記受容媒体に画像を平版印刷する工程とを有する方法。
  2. 請求項1記載の方法において、
    前記感熱性層は、少なくとも1つのエポキシ又はビニルエーテル官能基を有するエポキシ又はビニルエーテルモノマー又はオリゴマーと、ブレーンステッド酸形成要素と、赤外線吸収染料と
    を有するものである。
  3. 請求項1記載の方法において、
    前記感熱性層は、少なくとも1つの末端エチレン基を有する不飽和のモノマー又はオリゴマーをエチレン重合させることができるフリーラジカルと、フリーラジカル開始剤と、赤外線吸収染料とを有するものである。
  4. 請求項1記載の方法において、
    前記感熱性層は、ポリマー結合を更に有するものである。
  5. 請求項1記載の方法において、
    前記赤外線吸収染料又は顔料は前記感熱性層の重量の0.02から20%である。
  6. 請求項1記載の方法において、
    前記基板は親水性であり;前記感熱性層は親油性であり、アクリレート又はメタクリル酸エステル官能基を有する又は有さない親油性の重合粘着剤と、少なくとも1つのアクリレート又はメタクリル酸エステル官能基を有するモノマー又はオリゴマーと、フリーラジカル開始剤と、赤外線吸収染料と、を有するものである。
  7. 請求項1記載の方法において、
    前記感熱性層は親油性であり、前記基板は親水性であり、前記プレートは湿式平版プレートである。
  8. 請求項1記載の方法において、
    前記プレートは、前記基板と前記感熱性層との間に配置された剥離可能な中間層を更に含んでおり、前記剥離可能な中間層はインキ及び/又は湿し水に可溶性又は分散性であり;前記基板は、前記基板上に堆積された被覆物と機械的に組み合わされる凸凹の及び/又は孔のある表面を有し、前記中間層は前記基板の微細な表面上で略絶縁保護され、膜厚は十分に薄いものであり、それにより、機械的な組み合わせを経て前記感熱性層と前記基板の間に固着することができるようになっている。
  9. 請求項1記載の方法において、
    前記プレートは前記感熱性層上の保護膜に可溶性又は分散性であるインキ及び/又は湿し水を更に含むものである。
  10. 請求項1記載の方法において、
    前記基板は、凸凹部を有する粗い表面を有し、前記感熱性層は前記凸凹の基板表面上で略被覆されることによって前記感熱性層が前記基板の微小な表面上の主な凸凹に対応する凸凹を有するものであり;前記基板は、平均的な表面の粗さRaが約0.2から約2.0ミクロンであり、前記感熱性層は平均的な膜厚が約0.1から約2.0g/mであり、前記感熱性層の前記凹部の平均的な高さは少なくとも0.1ミクロンであり、前記感熱性層の前記凸部の平均的な高さよりも低いものである。
  11. 受容媒体上にイメージを平版印刷する方法であって、
    (a)平板印刷プレートを平板印刷機の前記プレートシリンダに載置する工程であって、この平板プレートは、(i)基板と;(ii)赤外線レーザの露光による重合を介して硬化又は分解を介して可溶化させることができ、感熱性層の前記非硬化範囲又は可溶化範囲はインキ及び/又は湿し水に可溶性又は分散性があってかつオン・プレス現像が可能であり、インキ及びインキ用の不粘性の液体からなるグループから選択された少なくとも1つの印刷液に対する前記基板の親和性又は非親和性とは略逆の親和性又は非親和性を示す前記感熱性層とを有するものである、工程と、;
    (b)前記赤外線レーザによって前記プレートを所望のイメージに露光し、前記露光範囲の感熱性層を硬化又は可溶化させる工程と;
    (c)前記印刷機を操作し、前記露光されたプレートを平版印刷機のインキ及び/又は湿し水と接触させ、非硬化範囲又は可溶化範囲の感熱性層を取り除き、前記プレートから前記受容媒体に画像を平版印刷する工程とを有する方法。
  12. 請求項11記載の方法において、
    前記感熱性層はポジ作用であり、赤外線レーザの露光による前記感熱性層のポリマー又は化合物の分解を介して可溶化させることができるものである。
  13. 請求項11記載の方法において、
    前記感熱性層はネガ作用であり、少なくとも1つの末端エチレン基を有する不飽和のモノマー又はオリゴマーをエチレン重合させることができるフリーラジカルと、フリーラジカル開始剤と、赤外線吸収染料とを有するものである。
  14. 請求項11記載の方法において、
    前記プレートは前記感熱性層上の保護膜に可溶性又は分散性であるインキ及び/又は湿し水を更に含むものである。
