本発明は、表示状態を変化させることが可能な入賞用可変表示装置の表示結果に応じて所定の入賞が発生可能なスロットマシンに関し、特には入賞用可変表示装置とは別個に設けられた演出用可変表示装置を備えるスロットマシンに関する。

【従来の技術】
この種のスロットマシンとしては、例えば、外周に複数種の図柄が表示された複数のリールを備え、これら各リールを回転させることにより図柄を連続的に変動表示させることができる入賞用可変表示装置を設けるとともに、この入賞用可変表示装置の表示結果として所定の入賞ラインに停止した図柄の組合せが所定の組合せとなった場合に入賞が発生するものが一般的である。通常、これら入賞の発生を許容するか否かは、入賞用可変表示装置の図柄が停止する以前に決定される。

しかしながら、演出用可変表示装置のみにより実現できる演出態様には限界があることから、演出用可変表示装置のみで入賞の発生が許容されたか否かの決定結果を反映した演出を行っても十分に興趣を高めることができなかった。

本発明は、このような問題点に着目してなされたものであり、演出用可変表示装置を用いて入賞の発生が許容されたか否かの決定結果を反映した演出を行うときに、その演出態様をより多彩なものとすることで興趣を高めることができるスロットマシンを提供することを目的とする。

上記課題を解決するために、本発明のスロットマシンは、複数種の入賞用図柄を移動させることにより表示状態を変化させるとともに、該移動を停止させたときに表示されている入賞用図柄を表示結果とする入賞用可変表示装置を備え、

前記入賞用可変表示装置とは別個に設けられ、複数種の演出用図柄を移動させることにより表示状態を変化させるとともに、該移動を停止させたときに表示されている演出用図柄を表示結果とする演出用可変表示装置と、
前記演出用可変表示装置の制御を行う演出用表示制御手段と、
前記入賞用可変表示装置の前記入賞用図柄の移動が停止する以前に前記入賞の発生を許容するか否かを決定する事前決定手段と、
を備え、
前記演出用表示制御手段は、
前記事前決定手段により遊技者にとって有利な特別入賞の発生が許容されていることを条件に、前記演出用可変表示装置の表示結果として表示されている演出用図柄のみによって前記特別入賞の発生が許容されている旨を示す単独告知を行わせることが可能となるように前記演出用可変表示装置の制御を行うとともに、
前記事前決定手段により前記特別入賞の発生が許容され、かつ前記入賞用可変表示装置の表示結果として表示されている入賞用図柄が特定の表示結果であることを条件に、該特定の表示結果として表示されている入賞用図柄と前記演出用図柄との組合せにより前記特別入賞の発生が許容されている旨を示す複合告知を行わせることが可能となるように前記演出用可変表示装置の制御を行うことを特徴としている。
この特徴によれば、演出用可変表示装置の表示結果として表示されている演出用図柄のみによって特別入賞の発生が許容されている旨を示す単独告知を行うこと、すなわち演出用可変表示装置に表示されている演出用図柄のみで事前決定手段により特別入賞の発生が許容された旨を報知することができるとともに、入賞用可変表示装置に表示されている入賞用図柄と演出用可変表示装置に表示されている演出用図柄との組合せによって特別入賞の発生が許容されている旨を示す複合告知を行うこと、すなわち入賞用可変表示装置と演出用可変表示装置の双方の図柄の組合せによって事前決定手段により特別入賞の発生が許容された旨を報知することができる。これにより、従来のように演出用可変表示装置のみを用いて事前決定手段により特別入賞の発生が許容されたか否かの結果を反映した演出を行う場合よりも、演出用可変表示装置を用いた多彩な演出態様にて特別入賞の発生が許容されたか否かの結果を反映した演出を行うことができるため、従来よりも興趣を高めることができる。
尚、本発明における特別入賞とは、例えば、通常に比較して入賞の発生確率が高い遊技状態や入賞の発生により通常よりも高い価値が付与される遊技状態等の特別遊技状態の発生契機となる入賞が該当する。
また、入賞用可変表示装置と演出用可変表示装置とは、各々別個に表示状態を変化させることが可能とされ、かつ別個の表示結果が得られるものであれば良く、これら入賞用可変表示装置と演出用可変表示装置と、が一体にユニット化されている構成としても良い。
