Abstract

Description
本出願が主張する優先権の基礎となる米国特許出願は、2000年12月27日に出願された米国特許出願第09/749,077号「壁の膨張性が変化する相似手術用バルーン(Conformal Surgical Balloon With Varying Wall Expansibility)」の一部継続出願であり、この米国特許出願第09/749,077号は、その全体が本出願では参照文献として引用される。
(1)端部部分の第3の一次壁厚が、実質的に7.62×10-3cm(3mil)から12.7×10-3cm(5mil)までの範囲内にある、請求項1記載の手術用バルーン。
(2)中間部分の第2の一次壁厚が、実質的に10.16×10-3cm(4mil)から15.24×10-3cm(6mil)までの範囲内にある、実施態様(1)記載の手術用バルーン。
(3)基部の第1の一次壁厚が、実質的に12.7×10-3cm(5mil)から25.4×10-3cm(10mil)までの範囲内にある、実施態様(2)記載の手術用バルーン。
(4)第2の一次壁厚が第1の一次壁厚より小さく、第3の一次壁厚が第1の一次壁厚および第2の一次壁厚より小さい、請求項1記載の手術用バルーン。
(5)端部部分が実質的に半球形の形状を有する、請求項1記載の手術用バルーン。
(6)端部部分が少なくとも実質的に半球状の形状を有する、請求項3記載の手術用バルーン。
(7)端部部分がバルーンの遠位の点に関して実質的に対称的である、実施態様(6)記載の手術用バルーン。

Claims (3)
- 子宮内に挿入するための手術用バルーンであって、
第1の側面に上記バルーンの外側面を、第2の側面に上記バルーンの内側中空を、各々画定し、伸張可能な材料から作られていて、上記内側中空内の圧力によって潰れた状態および膨らんだ状態の間で伸張可能な、実質的に連続した外壁を含み、
上記実質的に連続した外壁が、シャフトと結合するための基部と、上記基部に隣接した中間部分と、上記バルーンの遠位の端部にあって上記中間部分に隣接した端部部分とを含み、
上記基部が第1の一次壁厚を有し、上記中間部分が第2の一次壁厚を有し、上記端部部分が第3の一次壁厚を有する、手術用バルーン。 - 子宮内に挿入するための手術用バルーンであって、
第1の側面に上記バルーンの外側面を、第2の側面に上記バルーンの内側中空を、各々画定し、伸張可能な材料から作られていて、上記内側中空内の圧力によって潰れた状態および膨らんだ状態の間で伸張可能な、実質的に連続した外壁を含み、
上記実質的に連続した外壁が、カテーテルと結合するための基部と、上記バルーンの遠位の端部に配置されて第1の部分に隣接した端部部分とを含み、
上記端部部分が上記基部の一次壁厚より小さい一次壁厚を有する、手術用バルーン。 - 子宮内に挿入するための手術用バルーンであって、
第1の側面に上記バルーンの外側面を、第2の側面に上記バルーンの内側中空を、各々画定し、伸張可能な材料から作られていて、上記内側中空内の圧力によって潰れた状態および膨らんだ状態の間で伸張可能な、実質的に連続した外壁を含み、
上記実質的に連続した外壁が、カテーテルと結合するための基部と、上記バルーンの遠位の端部にある端部部分とを含み、
上記端部部分が上記基部の一次壁厚より小さい一次壁厚を有する、手術用バルーン。
