前記球体から外側に延びる複数のピラミッド状突起であって、各ピラミッド状突起は前記球体の表面から０．００５インチから０．０１５インチの範囲だけ延びる頂部を有し、各ピラミッド状突起は３又は６の凹状側面を有し、各凹状側面は曲率半径が０．２２５インチ〜０．３００インチである複数のピラミッド状突起と、
前記表面上の複数の円滑な部分とを有し、
ゴルフボールの表面全体は前記複数のピラミッド状突起と前記複数の円滑な部分により形成されているディンプルのないゴルフボール。
【請求項３】 複数のピラミッド状突起を持つ表面を有し、
各ピラミッド状突起は３又は６の凹状側面を有し、各凹状側面は曲率半径が０．２２５インチ〜０．３００インチであり、
前記複数の突起の少なくとも一つの頂部がゴルフボールの最大の範囲を画定し、ゴルフボールの最外部の０．００２インチの体積が０．００２１３立方インチより小さいゴルフボール。
