Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.土壌の中に配置された廃棄場所の周りに封じ込めヴォールトを建造する方法 であって、 (a)前記廃棄場所を囲む地面から切り離す、前記廃棄場所を含む土壌 の地下ブロックを形成するように前記廃棄場所の下および前記廃棄場所の周りの 前記土壌を通って連続する細長い溝を切削するステップと、 (b)前記廃棄場所を含む土壌の前記地下ブロックを浮くようにさせ、 かつ囲む地面の表面上に持ち上げるように前記廃棄場所土壌の平均濃度よりも大 きい濃度を有するグラウトで前記連続する細長い溝を充填するステップと、 (c)開いている不浸透封じ込め障壁が前記廃棄場所の周りに形成され るように前記グラウトを硬化させるステップと、 (d)気密ヴォールトが前記廃棄場所の周りに形成されるように前記開 いている封じ込め障壁をキャップ構造で密封するステップ、 を含むことを特徴とする土壌の中に配置された廃棄場所の周り に封じ込めヴォールトを建造する方法。 2.前記グラウトが硬化する前に合成不浸透性シートを前記グラウト充填の連続 する細長い溝に入れるステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の 方法。 3.前記キャップ構造が合成不浸透性シートを含むことを特徴とする請求項2に 記載の方法。 4.前記キャップ構造の前記合成不浸透性シートが前記グラウト充填の連続する 細長い溝の前記合成不浸透性シートに接着されることを特徴とする請求項3に記 載の方法。 5.漏れが生じたかどうかを検出するために前記ヴォールトの内部および外部の 状態を連続的に監視するセンサを前記気密ヴォールトの内部および前記ヴォール トの外部に配置するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方 法。 6.土壌に配置された廃棄場所のための封じ込め障壁を建造する方法であって、 (a)前記廃棄場所の外辺部の周りに浅い溝を形成するステップと、 (b)前記廃棄場所を囲む地面から切り離される、前記廃棄場所を含む 土壌の地下ブロックを形成するように、前記 浅い溝と交差する前記廃棄場所の下の複数のほぼ横方向の切断部を形成するステ ップと、 (c)前記廃棄場所を含む土壌の前記地下ブロックを浮くようにさせ、 かつ囲む地面の表面上に持ち上げるように前記廃棄場所土壌の平均濃度よりも大 きい濃度を有するグラウトで前記溝および複数の横方向の切断部を充填するステ ップと、 (d)開いている不浸透性封じ込め障壁が前記廃棄場所の周りに形成さ れるように前記グラウトを硬化させるステップとを含むこと、 を特徴とする土壌に配置された廃棄場所のための封じ込め障壁を建造する方法。 7.前記ほぼ横方向の切断部を形成するステップが、 (a)前記廃棄場所の下の複数の案内穴を対応する複数のドリルパイプ で指向的にドリルで穴をあけるステップと、 (b)前記ドリルパイプを使用して前記案内穴の各々を通る少なくとも 1つのポートおよび少なくとも1つのケーブルを有する引き出しパイプを含むア センブリを引っ張るステップと、 (c)前記土壌を切削するように隣接する案内穴間の ケーブルを引っ張るステップとをさらに含むこと、 を特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。 8.隣接するケーブルが、弧状切削面を作成するために一方の端に結合されてい ることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。 9.結合ケーブルの少なくとも1つが前記土壌を通って同時に進められ、かつ往 復運動されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。 10.前記ケーブルが、両端で結合され、前記ケーブルの切削面が連続的に変わ るように進行循環切断部を作成するケーブルへの応力を保持する間前記案内穴を 循環される連続ループになる請求項8に記載の方法。 11.前記グラウトが、前記ほぼ横方向の切断部をグラウトで充填するように前 記引き出しパイプの前記少なくとも1つのポートを通ってポンプで注がれること を特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。 12.前記ほぼ横方向の切断部を形成するステップが、 (a)前記廃棄場所の下の複数の案内穴を対応する複数のドリルパイプ で指向的にドリルで穴をあけるステップと、 (b)前記ドリルパイプを使用して前記案内穴の各々 を通る引き出しパイプおよび少なくとも1つのケーブルを含むアセンブリを引っ 張るステップと、 (c)各案内穴からの少なくとも1つのケーブルを使用して各対の隣接 する案内穴を通して複数のポートを有する管状物部材を引っ張るステップと、 (d)前記グラウトが、対応する複数の噴射口ストリームの前記複数の ポートから押し出されるように圧力下でグラウトを前記管状物部材に供給するス テップと、 (e)前記廃棄場所の下の前記土壌のパネルを切削し、 かつ前記ほぼ横方向の切断部をグラウトで充填するようにグラウトが前記複数の ポートから押し出されるとき前記管状物部材を同時に進め、往復運動し、部分回 転させるステップ、 をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。 13.前記グラウトが硬化する前に合成不浸透性シートを前記横方向の切断部お よび浅い溝に入れるステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方 法。 14.取り付け中に線形運動を可能にするインターロックジョイントを使用して 前記横方向の切断部で前記合成不浸透性シートを一緒に結合するステップをさら に含むことを特徴とする請 求項13に記載の方法。 15.前記管状物部材が、前記土壌を通る切削を容易にするために削磨面を有す ることを特徴とする請求項13の方法。 16.固い土壌を通して切削する際に前記管状物部材を支援する少なくとも案内 穴の1つを通る削磨面を有するケーブルを引っ張るステップをさらに含むことを 特徴とする請求項13に記載の方法。 17.削磨面を有するケーブルを前記管状物部材の一端に取り付けるステップと 、固い土壌の切削を容易にするために前記土壌を通って前記削磨ケーブルを往復 運動あるいは連続する循環運動で引っ張るステップと、一旦固体土壌が切削され ると、前記管状物部材を前記土壌の中に引っ張り戻し、切削し続けるステップと をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の方法。 18.土壌に配置された廃棄場所のための封じ込め障壁を建造する方法であって 、 (a)前記廃棄場所の下および前記廃棄場所の周りの前記土壌を通って 連続する細長い溝を切削するステップと、 (b)前記溝が切削されるとき沈下が防止されるよう に前記連続する細長い溝を高速凝固グラウトで充填するステップ、を含み、 前記高速凝固グラウトが、ワックスおよび界面活性剤の特性を有する溶融材料 を含む組成を有し、かつ一旦前記グラウトが硬化すると、不浸透性封じ込め障壁 が形成されることを特徴とする土壌に配置された廃棄場所のための封じ込め障壁 を建造する方法。 19.前記溶融材料が、120°〜180°Fの融点を有するパラフィンである ことを特徴とする請求項18に記載の方法。 20.前記溶融材料が、181.4°Fで溶融する低濃度ポリエチレンホモポリ マー、例えばMarcus4040であることを特徴とする請求項18に記載の 方法。 21.前記界面活性剤が、Flourad(登録商標)FC‐430のようなフ ッ素脂肪族化合物重合体エステルを含むことを特徴とする請求項18に記載の方 法。 22.気密ヴォールトが前記廃棄場所の周りに形成されるように前記不浸透性封 じ込め障壁をキャップ構造で密封するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請 求項18に記載の方法。 23.有毒廃棄物材料のための封じ込め障壁を形成する際に使 用するためのグラウトであって、水と、タイプKセメントと、高濃度添加剤と、 粘度減少混合剤と、凝固遅延混合剤とを含むことを特徴とするグラウト。 24.有毒廃棄物材料のための封じ込め障壁を形成する際に使用するためのグラ ウトであって、重量で90〜110の割合の水と、重量で150の割合のタイプ Kセメントと、重量で300〜400の割合の酸化鉄と、重量で20〜40の割 合の燻蒸シリカと、重量で25〜35の割合のラテックスエマルジョンと、重量 で30〜60の割合の耐塩性ハイレンジ減水剤と、重量で0.2〜0.8の割合 の有機リン酸とを含むことを特徴とするグラウト。 25.有毒廃棄物材料のための封じ込め障壁を形成する際に使用するためのグラ ウトであって、6〜8重量パーセントの予水和ベントナイトスラリーと、1重量 パーセントのリグノスルホン酸ナトリウムと、重量で50の割合のタイプKセメ ントと、重量で300〜400の割合の酸化鉄と、重量で20〜40の割合の燻 蒸シリカと、重量で25〜35の割合のラテックスエマルジョンと、重量で30 〜60の割合の耐塩性ハイレンジ減水剤とを含むことを特徴とするグラウト。
