Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. (A)中性離散金属錯体と、 (B)式 B(X)3 [式中、Xはハイドライド、ハライド、アルキル、キレート化用リガンドもしく は多環式リガンドであり、各Xは同一でも異なってもよい] の硼素化合物と、 (C)式 M(X)3 [式中、Mは硼素を除き第IA、IIAもしくはIIIA族金属であり、Xは( B)につき規定した通りである] の化合物と からなることを特徴とするオレフィンの重合に使用するのに適する触媒組成物。 2. 硼素化合物(B)が式 B(R)3-xXx [式中、Rはアルキルであり、xは0〜3である] を有する請求の範囲第1項に記載の触媒組成物。 3. 硼素化合物(B)がトリイソブチル硼素である請求の範囲第1項または第 2項に記載の触媒組成物。 4. 化合物(C)が式 M(R)yXz [式中、Rはアルキルであり、yは少なくとも1であり、zはMの原子価を満た す整数であり、Mは硼素を除き第IA、IIAもしくはIIIA族金属であり、 Xはハイドライド、ハライド、アルキル、キレート化用リガンドもしくは多環式 リガンドであり、各Xは同一でも異なってもよい] を有する請求の範囲第1項に記載の触媒組成物。 5. 化合物(C)がトリイソブチルアルミニウムである請求の範囲第4項に記 載の触媒組成物。 6. 中性離散金属錯体が式 (L)pMYnXm [式中、Lはオレフィン重合条件下でMに結合し続けるリガンドを示し、 Mは第IIIA族元素または第IIIB、IVB、VB、VIBもしくはVII I族遷移金属であり、 Yは陰イオン性リガンドであって、好適にはハイドライド、ハライド、アルキル 、アリールよりなる群から選択しうると共に同一でも異なってもよく、またはM に直接結合したO、S、NおよびPからの少なくとも1個の原子を有する基とす ることもでき、 Xは中性ルイス塩基であり、 n>もしくは=1であり、 p>もしくは=1であり、 m>もしくは=0である] を有する請求の範囲第1〜5項のいずれか一項に記載の触媒組成物。 7. 錯体が式 (Cp)pMYn [式中、Cpは未置換もしくは置換シクロペンタジエニルリガンドを示し、 Mは第IVB、VB、VIBもしくはVIII族金属であり、 Yはハイドライド、ハライド、アルキル、アリールまたはMに直接結合したO、 S、NおよびPからの少なくとも1個の原子を有する基から選択される陽イオン 性リガンドであり、 Yは同一でも異なってもよく、 pは1〜3であり、 nは1〜3である] を有する請求の範囲第6項に記載の触媒組成物。 8. 錯体が式 Cp2ZrY2 を有する請求の範囲第7項に記載の触媒組成物。 9. Mがチタン、ジルコニウムもしくはハフニウムであり、Yがハライドもし くはトリフレートである請求の範囲第7項に記載の触媒組成物。 10. 支持体をさらに含む請求の範囲第1〜9項のいずれか一項に記載の触媒 組成物。 11. 支持体がシリカである請求の範囲第10項に記載の触媒組成物。 12. 他の触媒成分をさらに含む請求の範囲第1〜11項のいずれか一項に記 載の触媒組成物。 13. 他方の触媒成分がチーグラー触媒である請求の範囲第12項に記載の触 媒組成物。 14. 請求の範囲第1〜13項のいずれか一項に記載の触媒組成物の存在下に て行われることを特徴とするエチレンの重合またはエチレンとC3〜C10炭素原 子を有するα−オレフィンとの共重合の方法。 15. 気相にて行われる請求の範囲第14項に記載の方法。
