Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.電力増幅器において発生する歪みを低減する方法であって: 入力信号を振幅経路および位相経路に分割する段階; 前記位相経路における増幅段を、前記振幅経路からの増幅エンベロープ信号に よって変調する段階;および 前記電力増幅器の出力を前記振幅経路にフィードバックする段階; から成ることを特徴とする方法。 2.前記フィードバック段階は: 前記電力増幅器の前記出力をエンベロープ検出し、出力エンベロープ信号を生 成する段階;および 前記増幅エンベロープ信号を、前記入力信号および前記出力エンベロープ信号 の関数として生成する段階; を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。 3.増幅器であって: 入力信号のエンベロープを検出し、入力エンベロープ信号を生成する第1エン ベロープ検出器; 出力信号のエンベロープを検出し、出力エンベロープ信号を生成する第2エン ベロープ検出器; 前記入力エンベロープ信号および前記出力エンベロープ 信号に応答して、第1差信号を生成する第1差動増幅器; 前記第1差信号を増幅し、増幅エンベロープ信号を生成するエンベロープ増幅 器;および 前記出力信号を生成する電力増幅器; から成り、前記電力増幅器を、前記増幅エンベロープ信号によって変調すること を特徴とする増幅器。 4.前記エンベロープ増幅器はS級増幅器であることを特徴とする請求項3記載 の増幅器。 5.前記第1差動増幅器は、前記第1差信号を生成する前に、前記出力エンベロ ープ信号にスケーリングを行うことを特徴とする請求項3記載の増幅器。 6.前記第1差動増幅器は、前記第1差信号を生成する前に、前記入力エンベロ ープ信号にスケーリングを行うことを特徴とする請求項3記載の増幅器。 7.前記エンベロープ増幅器は: 前記第1差信号および前記増幅エンベロープ信号に応答し、第2差信号を生成 する第2差動増幅器;および 前記第2差信号に応答し、前記増幅エンベロープ信号を生成する増幅段; から成ることを特徴とする請求項3記載の増幅器。 8.前記第2差信号に応答する前記増幅段は、S級増幅器であることを特徴とす る請求項7記載の増幅器。 9.前記第1エンベロープ検出器および前記第2エンベロープ検出器が整合して いることを特徴とする請求項3記載の増幅器。 10.前記第1エンベロープ検出器および前記第2エンベロープ検出器を、共通 パッケージに内蔵することを特徴とする請求項3記載の増幅器。
