Claims (10)

  1. （ａ）内部空間を有する密封された光透過性外管と、
    （ｂ）前記外管に固定された口金と、
    （ｃ）前記外管内に配置されかつ一端が前記口金に連結された非絶縁主導線と、
    （ｄ）前記外管内で光を発生し得る光源であって、前記光源は第１及び第２の端部を有すると共に、前記第１の端部は前記非絶縁主導線に電気的に接続されかつ前記第２の端部はステムリード線に接続されている光源と、
    （ｅ）前記光源を包囲しかつ前記非絶縁主導線に隣接して取付けられたシュラウドと、
    （ｆ）前記シュラウド及び前記光源を支持すると共に、前記シュラウド及び前記光源を前記非絶縁主導線に機械的に連結している第１の中心支持体とを含む電球。
  2. 前記光源がアーク管である請求項１記載の電球。
  3. 前記光源がセラミックアーク管である請求項１記載の電球。
  4. 前記第１の中心支持体が前記光源の前記第１の端部を前記非絶縁主導線に電気的に接続している請求項１記載の電球。
  5. （ａ）内部空間を有する密封された光透過性外管と、
    （ｂ）前記外管に固定された口金と、
    （ｃ）前記外管内に配置されかつ一端が前記口金に連結された非絶縁主導線と、
    （ｄ）前記外管内で光を発生し得る光源であって、前記光源は第１及び第２の端部を有すると共に、前記第１の端部は前記非絶縁主導線に電気的に接続されかつ前記第２の端部はステムリード線に接続されている光源と、
    （ｅ）前記光源を包囲しかつ前記非絶縁主導線に隣接して取付けられたシュラウドと、
    （ｆ）前記光源の前記第１の端部から出る第１のリード線に電気的に接続されかつ前記光源の前記第２の端部で電気絶縁体に連結された中心支持線であって、前記中心支持線は前記シュラウドを取巻くと共に、前記シュラウドより上方の第１の連結点及び前記シュラウドより下方の第２の連結点で前記非絶縁主導線に結合されている中心支持線とを含む電球。
  6. 前記中心支持線が前記第１の連結点から前記第２の連結点まで連続している請求項５記載の電球。
  7. 前記シュラウドが軸方向に移動するのを防止するため前記中心支持線に連結された止めをさらに含む請求項５又は６記載の電球。
  8. （ａ）内部空間を有する密封された光透過性外管と、
    （ｂ）前記外管に固定された口金と、
    （ｃ）前記外管内に配置されかつ一端が前記口金に連結された非絶縁主導線と、
    （ｄ）前記外管内で光を発生し得る光源であって、前記光源は第１及び第２の端部を有すると共に、前記第１の端部は前記非絶縁主導線に電気的に接続されかつ前記第２の端部はステムリード線に接続されている光源と、
    （ｅ）前記光源を包囲すると共に、前記非絶縁主導線によって包囲されたシュラウドと含む電球。
  9. 前記非絶縁主導線が前記シュラウドを支持している請求項８記載の電球。
  10. 前記非絶縁主導線が前記光源の前記第１の端部から出る第１のリード線に機械的に結合されている請求項８又は９記載の電球。
