Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.(a)分散された金属繊維を含む調合流体の粘度が、湿式堆積技術に適するよ うな量の非カルボキシル基含有水溶性高分子及び金属繊維を水性調合流体中に分 散し、 (b)分散された金属繊維とともに、スタリーン上に水性調合流体を塗布し、そ して (c)水性調合流体を除去し、それにより繊維金属シートを形成する、 湿式堆積金属繊維不繊シートの製造方法。 2.水性調合流体中に含有される水溶性高分子は、ポリビニルアルコール、澱粉 又はセルロースエステルを含む請求項1に記載の方法。 3.水溶性高分子は1〜5重量%の水性調合流体を含有する請求項2に記載の方 法。 4.水性調合流体中に含有される水溶性高分子の量が、約3〜4重量%の範囲で ある請求項2に記載の方法。 5.水性調合流体中に含有される水溶性高分子が澱粉を含有する請求項2に記載 の方法。 6.水性調合流体が水性調合流体中での微生物の成長を抑制するための殺生物剤 をさらに含有する請求項5に記載の方法。 7.金属繊維がニッケル又はステンレス鋼繊維を含有する、請求項1に記載の方 法。 8.金属繊維がニッケル繊維を含有する請求項7に記載の方法。 9.金属繊維がステンレス鋼繊維を含有する請求項7に記載の方法。 10.水性調合流体が再循環される請求項1に記載の方法。 11.金属繊維シートが少なくとも金属の95重量%含有される請求項1に記載 の方法。 12.カレンダー処理又は焼結のような、後続の加工工程において完全に十分に ハンドリングできるシートを提供するような量で、非カルボキシル基含有水溶性 高分子を金属繊維の隙間に含有する湿式堆積不繊の金属繊維布。 13.金属繊維がステンレス鋼又はニッケル繊維を含む請求項12に記載の金属 繊維シート。 14.金属繊維がステンレス鋼繊維を含む請求項12に記載の金属繊維シート。 15.金属繊維がニッケル繊維を含む請求項12に記載の金属繊維シート。 16.水溶性高分子はポリビニルアルコール又は澱粉又はカルボキシメチルセル ロースからなる請求項12に記載の金属繊維シート。 17.金属繊維の隙間にある水溶性高分子が澱粉を含む請求項12に記載の金属 繊維シート。 18.請求項1に記載の方法により製造された湿式堆積不繊金属繊維シート。 19.シートは少なくとも95%の金属からなる請求項18に記載の金属繊維シ ート。 20.請求項5に記載の方法により製造された湿式堆積不繊金属繊維シート。 21.シートは少なくとも95%の金属を含む請求項20に記載の金属繊維シー ト。 22.請求項7に記載の方法により製造された湿式堆積不繊金属繊維シート。 23.シートは少なくとも95%の金属を含有する請求項22に記載の金属繊維 シート。 24.焼結され、焼結工程からの炭素残留物である残部とともに、少なくとも9 9重量%の金属を含有する湿式堆積不繊金属繊維シート。 25.少なくとも99重量%の金属を含有する湿式堆積不繊金属繊維シート。 26.請求項24に記載の湿式堆積不繊金属繊維シートを用いて製造されたバッ テリー電極。 27.請求項25に記載の湿式堆積不繊金属繊維シートを用いて製造されたバッ テリー電極。 28.請求項24に記載の湿式堆積不繊金属繊維シートを用いて製造された流体 フィルター。 29.請求項25に記載の湿式堆積不繊金属繊維シートを用いて製造された流体 フィルター。 30.請求項25に記載の湿式堆積不繊金属繊維シートを用いて製造されたガス フィルター。
