Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.(a)(i)少なくとも約220℃の結晶溶融温度を有する結晶質熱可 塑性樹脂であるか、または(ii)少なくとも約220℃のガラス転移温度を有す る非晶質ポリマーである溶融加工性ポリマー100重量部;および、 (b)陰荷電層、および陰荷電層間に挟まれたオルガノホスホニウムカ チオンを有する改質層状クレーであって、該オルガノホスホニウムカチオンが、 構造: R1P+(R2)3 [式中、R1はC8〜C24アルキルまたはアリールアルキル基であり、各R2は同 じかまたは異なって、アリール、アリールアルキル、またはC1〜C6アルキル基 である。] を有する改質層状クレー1重量部〜80重量部; の溶融ブレンドを含んで成る複合材料。 2.溶融加工性ポリマーが、フッ素プラスチック、ポリ(フェニレンエーテ ルケトン)、脂肪族ポリケトン、ポリエステル、ポリ(フェニレンスルフィド) 、ポリ(フェニレンエーテルスルホン)、ポリ(エーテルイミド)、ポリ(イミ ド)、およびポリカーボネートから成る群から選択される請求項1に記載の複合 材料。 3.溶融加工性ポリマーがフッ素プラスチックである請求項1に記載の複合 材料。 4.溶融加工性ポリマーが、エチレン−テトラフルオロエチレンコポリマー 、パーフルオロ化エチレン−プロピレンコポリマー、およびテトラフルオロエチ レン−パーフルオロ(プロピルビニルエーテル)コポリマーから成る群から選択 される請求項3に記載の複合材料。 5.溶融加工性ポリマーが、少なくとも約250℃の結晶溶融温度を有する 結晶質熱可塑性樹脂である請求項1に記載の複合材料。 6.溶融加工性ポリマーが、少なくとも約250℃のガラス転移温度を有す る非晶質ポリマーである請求項1に記載の複合材料。 7.R1がC12〜C18のn−アルキルであり、R2がC1〜C4のn−アルキル 、フェニル、またはベンジルである請求項1に記載の複合材料。 8.複合材料が、少なくとも34Åの改質層状クレーの陰荷電層間の中間層 距離を有する請求項1に記載の複合材料。 9.改質層状クレーが、オルガノホスホニウム塩と、モンモリロナイト、ベ ントナイト、カオリナイト、マイカ、ヘクトライト、フルオロヘクトライト、サ ポナイト、ベイデライト、ノントロナイト、ステベンサイト、バーミキュライト 、ハロイサイト、ボルコンスコイト、スコナイト、マガダイト、ケニアライト、 およびそれらの組み合わせから成る群から選択される層状クレーとの反応によっ て、製造される請求項1に記載の複合材料。 10.改質層状クレーが10〜80重量部の量で存在する請求項1に記載の 複合材料。 11.(a)(i)少なくとも約220℃の結晶溶融温度を有する結晶質熱 可塑性樹脂であるか、または(ii)少なくとも約220℃のガラス転移温度を有 する非晶質ポリマーである溶融加工性ポリマー100重量部を準備し; (b)陰荷電層、および陰荷電層間に挟まれたオルガノホスホニウム カチオンを有する改質層状クレーであって、該オルガノホスホニウムカチオンが 、構造: R1P+(R2)3 [式中、R1はC8〜C24アルキルまたはアリールアルキル基であり、各R2は同 じかまたは異なって、アリール、アリールアルキル、またはC1〜C6アルキル基 である。] を有する改質層状クレー1重量部〜80重量部を準備し;および、 (c)溶融加工性ポリマーおよび改質層状クレーを溶融ブレンドして 複合材料を形成する; 段階を含んで成る複合材料の製造方法。 12.溶融加工性ポリマーが、フッ素プラスチック、ポリ(フェニレンエー テルケトン)、脂肪族ポリケトン、ポリエステル、ポリ(フェニレンスルフィド )、ポリ(フェニレンエーテルスルホン)、ポリ(エーテルイミド)、ポリ (イミド)、およびポリカーボネートから成る群から選択される請求項11に記 載の方法。 13.溶融加工性ポリマーがフッ素プラスチックである請求項11に記載の 方法。 14.溶融加工性ポリマーが、エチレン−テトラフルオロエチレンコポリマ ー、パーフルオロ化エチレンープロピレンコポリマー、およびテトラフルオロエ チレン−パーフルオロ(プロピルビニルエーテル)コポリマーから成る群から選 択される請求項13に記載の方法。 15.溶融加工性ポリマーが、少なくとも約250℃の結晶溶融温度を有す る結晶質熱可塑性樹脂である請求項11に記載の方法。 16.溶融加工性ポリマーが、少なくとも約250℃のガラス転移温度を有 する非晶質ポリマーである請求項11に記載の方法。 17.R1がC12〜C18のn−アルキルであり、R2がC1〜C4のn−アルキ ル、フェニル、またはベンジルである請求項11に記載の方法。 18.改質層状クレーが、オルガノホスホニウム塩と、モンモリロナイト、 ベントナイト、カオリナイト、マイカ、ヘクトライト、フルオロヘクトライト、 サポナイト、ベイデライト、ノントロナイト、ステベンサイト、バーミキュライ ト、ハロイサイト、ボルコンスコイト、スコナイト、マガダイト、ケニアライト 、およびそれらの組み合わせから成る群から選択される層状クレーとの反応によ って、製造される請求項11に記載の方法。 19.改質層状クレーが10〜80重量部の量で存在する請求項11に記載 の方法。 20.複合材料が、少なくとも35Åの改質層状クレーの陰荷電層間の中間 層距離を有する請求項11に記載の方法。
