- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.特に小型の機関である内燃機関(16)の排出ガスシステム(17)のため の、ハウジング(3)に収められた触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23,2 4,25;36,37)であって、前記触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23 ,24,25;36,37)は少なくとも1つの構造物のシート(2;13)を 有し、前記少なくとも1つの構造物のシートは、触媒活性材料を含み、巻付けら れ、排出ガスが流れ得る通路(5)を形成し、前記ハウジング(3)を少なくと も部分的に圧迫し、前記シート(2;13)の構造は、前記ハウジング(3)の 断面から見たときに、閉じた前記通路(5)によって境界付けられた断面領域が 、前記ハウジング(3)の断面領域の全体の少なくとも半分を占めるようにされ 、前記触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23,24,25;36,37)は最 高で2つの層(11)を有することを特徴とする、触媒コンバータ(1;21, 22,23,24,25;36,37)。 2.前記境界付けられた断面領域が、前記ハウジング(3)の断面全体の少なく とも3分の2を占めることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の触媒コンバータ(1 ;21,22,23,24,25;36,37)。 3.前記シート(2;13)が、前記構造物が互いに対向関係に置かれるように 巻付けられることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の触媒コンバータ(1 ;21,22,23,24,25;36,37)。 4.前記対向配置された構造物が、互いに接触することなく互いに絡み合わせら れることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,2 3,24,25;36,37)。 5.前記境界付けられた断面領域が、前記ハウジング(3)の断面領域全体の少 なくとも4分の3を占めることを特徴とする、請求項3または4に記載の触媒コ ンバータ(1;21,22,23,24,25;36,37)。 6.前記触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23,24,25;36,37)が 安定化のための補強部材を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から5のいずれか に記載の触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23,24,25;36,37)。 7.前記触媒コンバータ(1:21,22,23,24,25;36,37)の 、 前記通路を形成する各シートが、前記補強部材を圧迫することを特徴とする、請 求項1から6のいずれかに記載の触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23,24 ,25;36,37)。 8.前記通路を形成するシート(2;13)が上面と下面とを有し、前記シート の上面および下面の各々はそれぞれの補強部材を圧迫することを特徴とする、請 求項1から7のいずれかに記載の触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23,24 ,25;36,37)。 9.構造物でないシート(12)と構造物のシート(13)とを有する層(11 )を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の触媒コンバータ (1;21,22,23,24,25;36,37)。 10.前記触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23,24,25;36,37) が、上面と下面とを有する構造物でないシート(13)を有し、前記構造物であ るシート(12,14)は、前記上面および下面の各々に配置されることを特徴 とする、請求項1から9のいずれかに記載の触媒コンバータ(1;21,22, 23,24,25;36,37)。 11.前記構造物が波形の形態であるか、曲げられた形態であるか、または扇形 の形態であることを特徴とする、請求項1から10のいずれかに記載の触媒コン バータ(1;21,22,23,24,25;36,37)。 12.前記触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23,24,25;36,37) の層(11)の少なくとも一部分が柔軟性を有し、特に、壁である、補強部材を 圧迫する層の一部分が柔軟性を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から11のい ずれかに記載の触媒コンバータ。 13.第1のシート(12)と第2のシート(13)とが層(11)を形成し、 前記第1のシート(12)は、好ましくは1.5と5との間であって、特に2と 4との間のファクタだけ、前記第2のシート(13)よりも厚い、請求項1から 12のいずれかに記載の触媒コンバータ。 14.前記第1のシート(12)が構造物ではなく、前記第2のシート(13) が構造物であることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の触媒コンバータ(1;2 1,22,23,24,25;36,37)。 15.平らな断面を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から14のいずれかに記 載の触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23,24,25;36,37)。 16.前記ハウジング(3)の表面(70,76)と対向関係をなして配置され た前記触媒コンバータ(1)の表面(71)が、前記ハウジング(3)の前記表 面(70,76)に適合されることを特徴とする、請求項1から15のいずれか に記載の触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23,24,25;36,37)。 17.前記ハウジング(3)に収められた前記触媒コンバータ(1)の意図され ない移動を防止するために、成形された外面(77)を有することを特徴とする 、請求項1から16のいずれかに記載の触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23 ,24,25;36,37)。 18.前記成形部分(78)が方向付けられ、特に傾斜した歯状の成形部分であ ることを特徴とする、請求項17に記載の触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,2 3,24,25;36,37)。 19.前記ハウジング(3)が前記排出ガスシステム(17)の部分であるよう にされることを特徴とする、請求項1から18のいずれかに記載の触媒コンバー タ(1;21,22,23,24,25;36,37)。 20.前記ハウジング(3)が、前記排出ガスシステム(17)のサイレンサ( 19)の、曲げられたパイプまたはのコンポーネントであることを特徴とする、 請求項19に記載の触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23,24,25;36 ,37)。 21.特に小型の機関である内燃機関(16)の排出ガスシステムのためのサイ レンサ(19)において、前記サイレンサ(19)が、触媒コンバータ(1;2 1,22,23,24,25;36,37)を受けるための手段(26)を有す ることを特徴とする、請求項1から20のいずれかに記載の触媒コンバータ(1 ;21,22,23,24,25;36,37)。 22.請求項21に記載のサイレンサ(19)において、前記サイレンサ(19 )の一部分が、前記触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23,24,25;36 ,37)を固定するための手段(26,27;38,39,40)を有すること を特徴とする、請求項1から21のいずれかに記載の触媒コンバータ(1;2 1,22,23,24,25;36,37)。 23.請求項21または22に記載のサイレンサ(19)において、前記触媒コ ンバータ(1;21,22,23,24,25;36,37)が交換可能に挿入 され得ることを特徴とする、請求項1から22のいずれかに記載の触媒コンバー タ(1;21,22,23,24,25;36,37)。 24.請求項21から24のいずれかに記載のサイレンサ(19)において、前 記サイレンサ(19)は補強部材を有し、前記補強部材によって、特にクランプ 力である力が前記触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23,24,25;36, 37)に加えられることを特徴とする、請求項1から23のいずれかに記載の触 媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23,24,25;36,37)。 25.請求項21から24のいずれかに記載のサイレンサ(19)において、前 記触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23,24,25;36,37)の一部分 が、前記サイレンサ(19)によって押し付けられることを特徴とする、請求項 1から24のいずれかに記載の触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23,24, 25;36,37)。 26.クレーム1から25のいずれかに記載の少なくとも2つの部分(33,3 4)を含むサイレンサ(19)において、隔壁(28)が前記サイレンサ(19 )を第1の領域(29)および第2の領域(30)に分割し、前記隔壁(28) および/または前記サイレンサ(19)はそれぞれの前記領域(29,30)に 触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23,24,25;36,37)を保持する ための手段(26,27;38,39,40)を有し、前記隔壁は前記サイレン サ(19)を通る貫流方向に実質的に非常に平行に配置されることを特徴とする 、請求項1から25のいずれかに記載の触媒コンバータ(1;21,22,23 ,24,25;36,37)。 27.前記2つの部分(33,34)が、前記触媒コンバータ(21,22,2 3)を保持するために用いられる相互に係合する閉鎖機構(79)を有すること を特徴とする、請求項21から26のいずれかに記載のサイレンサ。 28.特に小型の機関のサイレンサ(19)である、内燃機関(16)の排出ガ スシステム(17)に配置された触媒コンバータのキャリア本体を製造するため のプロセスであって、 −少なくとも部分的に湾曲した細長い本体(50)のまわりに斜めに構造物の シート(49)が巻付けられ、 −前記巻付けられたシート(49)を有する前記細長い本体(50)の少なく とも一部分が後に複数の部分(51)に分割され、 −それぞれの部分(51)が触媒コンバータのキャリア本体になる、プロセス 。 29.前記本体(51;58)がその中に中空のキャビティを有し、前記中空の キャビティの中に前記構造物のシート(59)が配置されることを特徴とする、 請求項28に記載のプロセス。 30.前記シート(49;54;59)および/または前記本体(50;58) が、前記巻付け作業前に、触媒活性層(4)でコーティングされることを特徴と する、請求項28または29に記載のプロセス。 31.前記部分(51)が触媒活性層(4)でコーティングされることを特徴と する、請求項28または29に記載のプロセス。 32.前記本体(50;58)が、巻付けられることとなる前記シート(49; 54;59)よりも、特に約1倍から5倍厚いシートであることを特徴とする、 請求項28から31のいずれかに記載のプロセス。 33.巻付けられることとなる前記シート(49;54;59)が、連続したシ ートのストリップ(53)から解かれることを特徴とする、請求項28から32 のいずれかに記載のプロセス。 34.請求項1から27のいずれかに記載の触媒コンバータ(1;21,22, 23,24,25;36,37)が、前記触媒コンバータのキャリア本体から作 られることを特徴とする、請求項28から33のいずれかに記載のプロセス。
