Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.多孔度、空孔の断面積及び連絡通路の寸法が制御された骨代替物としての使 用が意図されたマクロポーラスな合成セラミックスの製造方法において、以下の 各工程から順に成ることを特徴とする製造方法: 1)空孔生成要素の集合体を形成する; 2)該空孔生成要素間に制御された融合が確されるように該集合体を熱成形す る; 3)該空孔生成要素間の空隙を埋めるように懸濁液で該集合体を含浸する; 4)連絡通路の径が制御されたマクロ多孔度を付与するように該空孔生成要素 を除去する。 2.更に以下の各工程を順に含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の製 造方法: a)容器中に、予め決められた形状を有する空孔生成有機物質の粒子をつめる ; b)該粒子同士を融合させるため、該有機物質のガラス転移点より高い温度で 該粒子に対して熱成形処理を行う; c)熱成形された粒子を容器から除去するか、又はこの粒子を多孔性の型につ める; d)リン酸カルシウム又はその類似物の水性媒体中における塩基性懸濁液を該 粒子中に流通させ、該粒子間の空隙をその懸濁液で再び満たす; e)多孔性型に余分な水分が吸収されたら、得られた製品を型からはずす; f)有機物を全て燃やし製品に所望の多孔度を付与するために加熱処理を行う ; g)該製品を焼結し団結させるのに十分な温度で加熱する。 3.工程b)で行う熱成形は空孔生成要素を、全体的に又その表面を、有機物質 のガラス転移点より高い温度で均一に加熱することから成る請求の範囲第1項に 記載の製造方法。 4.工程b)で行う熱成形は次の各工程から成ることを特徴とする請求の範囲第 2項又は第3項に記載の製造方法: i)空の容器を有機物質のガラス転移点より高い温度で予備加熱する; ii)該容器に有機物質の粒子を装入する; iii)冷却終了まで該粒子を成形し結合する; iv)周囲温度まで冷却する。 5.該有機物質は熱成形に適した熱可塑性重合体であることを特徴とする請求の 範囲第2項から第4項のいずれかに記載の製造方法。 6.該有機物質は少なくとも構造の一部が非晶質、好ましくは非晶質であること を特徴とする請求の範囲第5項に記載の製造方法。 7.該有機物質はポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA)、ポリメタクリレート( PMA)、ポリスチレン、ポリエチレン及びこれらの類似物から選ばれたもので あることを特徴とする請求の範囲第2項から第6項のいずれかに記載の製造方法 。 8.工程a)は実質的に球形をした粒子を用いて行うことを特徴とする請求の範 囲第2項から第7項のいずれかに記載の製造方法。 9.リン酸カルシウムはヒドロキシンアパタイト(HA)、リン酸三石灰(TCP β)、これらの類似物又は混合物であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第2項から 第7項のいずれかに記載の製造方法。 10.工程f)の熱処理は有機物質の熱分解温度に等しいかこれより高い温度で 行うことを特徴とする請求の範囲第2項から第9項のいずれかに記載の製造方法 。 11.工程g)の熱処理は約1,000℃ないし1,300℃の温度で行うこと を特徴とする請求の範囲第2項から第10項のいずれかに記載の製造方法。 12.該容器が金属製、セラミック製、樹脂製又はその他の全ての物質であって 使用する有機物質の少なくとも熱分解温度に耐えるものからできていることを特 徴とする請求の範囲第2項から第11項のいずれかに記載の製造方法。 13.該多孔性の型は目的のセラミックスの形状に対応し、予め決められた特定 の形状を有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第2項から第12項のいずれかに記 載の製造方法。 14.該多孔性の型は石こう、セラミックス、金属又は樹脂製の型から選ばれる ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第2項から第13項のいずれかに記載の製造方法。 15.請求の範囲第1項から第14項のいずれかに記載の方法により製造したマ クロポーラスな合成セラミックス。 16.寸法が制御された空孔から成り、該空孔は予め決められた数及び表面分布 を有するので、空孔間の連絡通路が制御されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲 第15項に記載のマクロポーラスな合成セラミックス。 17.空孔の径が100−800μmの範囲にあり、連絡通路の径が40−64 0μmの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求の範囲16項又は17項に記載の合成 セラミックス。 18.傾斜した多孔度を持つ構造を有し、ち密な部分から成るか、全くち密な部 分を有しないことを特徴とする請求の範囲第16項又は第17項に記載の合成セ ラミックス。 19.骨代替物であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第15項から第18項のいず れかに記載した合成セラミックス。 20.請求の範囲第15項から第19項のいずれかに記載した合成セラミックス の骨代替物としての利用。
