Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 実質的に乾燥している水溶性もしくは水膨潤性ビニル付加ポリマー粒子 を製造する方法であって、(a)滞留時間が約8から約120秒で吐き出し温度 が約70℃から100℃未満になるようにビニル付加ポリマ一含有油中水エマル ジョンまたは油中水ミクロエマルジョンを気体流れの中に噴霧して乾燥させそし て(b)その結果として生じたポリマー粒子を集めることを含む方法。 2. 上記ビニル付加ポリマー含有油中水エマルジョンまたは油中水ミクロエ マルジョンが揮発性油を含有する請求の範囲第1項記載の方法。 3. 上記ビニル付加ポリマー含有油中水エマルジョンまたは油中水ミクロエ マルジョンがアミド、第三級アミノメチル、第三級アミノメチルの第四級化物、 ヒドロキシル、グリオキサール、スルホネート、スルホネート塩、カルボン酸、 カルボン酸塩、ヒドロキサム酸、ヒドロキサム酸塩、ジアルキルアミノアルキル (アルク)アクリレート、ジアルキルアミノアルキル(アルク)アクリレート塩 およびジアルキルアミノアルキル(アルク)アクリレートの第四級化物から成る 群から選択されるペンダント型基を有するポリマーを含有する請求の範囲第1項 記載の方法。 4. 上記ポリマー粒子を凝集させることを更に含む請求の範囲第3項記載の 方法。 5. 上記ビニル付加ポリマー含有油中水エマルジョンまたはミクロエマルジ ョンがポリ(アルク)アクリルアミドのマンニッヒ物、ポリ(アルク)アクリル アミドのマンニッヒ物の第四級化物、ポリアクリルアミドのヒドロキサメート化 物、(メタ)アクリル酸ポリマーのエステル化 物、(メタ)アクリル酸コポリマーのエステル化物およびポリアクリルアミドの 加水分解物から成る群から選択されるポリマーを含有する請求の範囲第1項記載 の方法。 6. 上記ポリマー粒子を凝集させることを更に含む請求の範囲第5項記載の 方法。 7. 上記ビニル付加ポリマー含有油中水エマルジョンまたはミクロエマルジ ョンがアクリルアミド、ジアルキルアミノアルキル(アルク)アクリレート、ジ アルキルアミノアルキル(アルク)アクリレート塩、ジアルキルアミノアルキル (アルク)アクリレートの第四級化物、アクリル酸およびアクリル酸塩から成る 群から選択される繰り返し単位を有するポリマーを含有する請求の範囲第1項記 載の方法。 8. 上記水溶性ポリマーが分枝している請求の範囲第7項記載の方法。 9. 上記ビニル付加ポリマー含有油中水エマルジョンまたは油中水ミクロエ マルジョンがポリマー含有油中水エマルジョンまたは油中水ミクロエマルジョン の噴霧乾燥過程から回収された油を含有する請求の範囲第1項記載の方法。 10. 上記ビニル付加ポリマー含有油中水エマルジョンまたは油中水ミクロ エマルジョンが界面活性剤を全重量を基準にして約2重量%またはそれ以下の量 で含有する請求の範囲第1項記載の方法。 11. 実質的に乾燥している水溶性もしくは水膨潤性ポリマー粒子をブレン ド物から製造する方法であって、(a)(i)1番目の水溶性もしくは水膨潤性 ビニル付加ポリマー含有油中水エマルジョンまたは油中水ミクロエマルジョンお よび(ii)2番目の水溶性もしくは水膨潤 性ビニル付加ポリマー含有油中水エマルジョンまたは油中水ミクロエマルジョン で構成されているか或はそれらを混合することで作られたブレンド物を気体流れ の中に滞留時間が約8から約120秒で吐き出し温度が約70℃から約150℃ になるように噴霧して乾燥させそして(b)その結果として生じたポリマー粒子 を集めることを含む方法。 12. 上記1番目の水溶性もしくは水膨潤性ビニル付加ポリマー含有油中水 エマルジョンまたは油中水ミクロエマルジョンが上記2番目の水溶性もしくは水 膨潤性ビニル付加ポリマー含有油中水エマルジョンまたは油中水ミクロエマルジ ョンの体積粘性率とは異なる体積粘性率を有する請求の範囲第11項記載の方法 。 13. 上記1番目の油中水ミクロエマルジョンまたは上記2番目の油中水ミ クロエマルジョンのいずれかがポリ(アルク)アクリルアミドのマンニッヒ物、 ポリ(アルク)アクリルアミドのマンニッヒ物の第四級化物またはそれらの混合 物を含有する請求の範囲第11項記載の方法。 14. (1)上記1番目の水溶性もしくは水膨潤性ビニル付加ポリマー含有 油中水エマルジョンまたはミクロエマルジョンまたは(2)上記2番目の水溶性 もしくは水膨潤性ビニル付加ポリマー含有油中水エマルジョンまたはミクロエマ ルジョンまたは(3)両方がビニル付加カチオンポリマーを含有する請求の範囲 第11項記載の方法。 15. 上記吐き出し温度を約70℃から100℃未満にする請求の範囲第1 1項記載の方法。
