Description
本発明の香料組成物は、３，７−ジメチル−１−オクテン−３−オールおよび３，７−ジメチル−１−オクテン−３−イルアセテートのうちの一方または両方を必須の香気成分として含有する。３，７−ジメチル−１−オクテン−３−オールおよび３，７−ジメチル−１−オクテン−３−イルアセテートは、それぞれ特徴的な香気を有している。すなわち、３，７−ジメチル−１−オクテン−３−オールは、リリー、ライラック、スイートピー、ローズなどの人造花精油の調合に極めて重要なリナロールに似た香気を有している。また、３，７−ジメチル−１−オクテン−３−イルアセテートはベルガモット油に似た果実様香気を有している。
