【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、マンホールに関
し、詳しくは、マンホールの蓋受枠の沈み込みを防止す
るための構造を有するマンホールに関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術及び発明が解決しようとする課題】道路等
に設置されているマンホールは、地盤上に敷設された砕
石部分に台座を設置し、この台座の上に、防護蓋が装着
される蓋受枠を載置するようにして形成されており、蓋
受枠の周囲は、路面を形成するアスファルト混合物等の
舗装材が充填された状態となっている。
【０００３】しかし、この構造では、防護蓋に加わる荷
重により、蓋受枠及び台座が沈み込み、マンホール部分
だけが周囲の路面から沈下してしまうことがあった。
【０００４】そこで本発明は、マンホール部分の沈み込
みを防止し、路面との平滑性を維持することができる構
造を有するマンホールを提供することを目的としてい
る。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的を達成するた
め、本発明のマンホールは、防護蓋が装着される蓋受枠
の上縁外周に沈み込み防止用のフランジを設けたことを
特徴としている。

【発明の実施の形態】図１は、本発明のマンホールの一
形態例を示す断面図である。このマンホールは、地盤内
の管路に接続した立上がり管１０の上部外周を埋め戻し
た砕石１１の上面部に台座１２を載置し、台座１２の上
に蓋受枠１３を据え付けたものであり、立上がり管１０
の開口には内蓋１４が装着され、蓋受枠１３には防護蓋
１５が装着される。また、台座１２の周囲には小砕石１
６が充填転圧され、この小砕石１６の上部にアスファル
ト混合物等の舗装材１７ａ，１７ｂが二層に充填されて
路面１８が形成される。
【０００７】前記蓋受枠１３の上縁外周には、上面が防
護蓋１５の上面と面一になるフランジ１９が設けられて
おり、上層の舗装材１７ｂは、フランジ１９の下方の蓋
受枠１３の胴部外周にまで充填され、舗装材１７ｂの上
面、即ち路面１８とフランジ１９の上面とが面一になる
ように形成される。したがって、路面１８、フランジ１
９及び防護蓋１５の上面が面一となり、全体として平滑
な面が形成されることになる。
【０００８】このように形成することにより、蓋受枠１
３は、下部の台座１２と、フランジ１９の下面の舗装材
１７ｂとで支持された状態になるため、防護蓋１５に大
きな荷重が加わっても、蓋受枠１３が沈み込むことを防
止できる。
【０００９】なお、フランジ１９の径や厚みは任意であ
り、マンホールの大きさや設置位置に応じて適当に設定
することができる。

【発明の効果】以上説明したように、本発明のマンホー
ルによれば、蓋受枠が沈み込むことを防止できるので、
平滑な路面を維持することができる。
