【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明に係る燃料電池では、第１および第２セパレータが、アノード側電極およびカソード側電極にそれぞれ燃料ガスおよび酸化剤ガスを供給する第１および第２流路を有するとともに、少なくとも前記第１または第２セパレータに対向するガス拡散層の面部には、前記燃料ガスまたは前記酸化剤ガスを流すためのガス流路が設けられている。また、ガス拡散層には、燃料ガスまたは酸化剤ガスを流すための複数の孔部が設けられている。

Claims (4)

  1. 電解質の一方の面に、電極触媒を有するガス拡散層からなるアノード側電極を配設し、前記電解質の他方の面に、電極触媒を有するガス拡散層からなるカソード側電極を配設した単位燃料電池セルと、
    前記単位燃料電池セルの両側に対設した第１および第２セパレータとを備える燃料電池であって、
    前記第１セパレータは、前記アノード側電極に燃料ガスを供給する第１流路を有するとともに、
    前記第２セパレータは、前記カソード側電極に酸化剤ガスを供給する第２流路を有し、
    前記ガス拡散層は、少なくとも前記第１または第２セパレータに対向する面部に前記燃料ガスまたは前記酸化剤ガスを流すためのガス流路を設けることを特徴とする燃料電池。
  2. 請求項１記載の燃料電池において、前記ガス拡散層のガス流路は、少なくとも前記第１または第２流路と同一形状を有し、それぞれ１本で連続する複数本の独立した流路溝を設けることを特徴とする燃料電池。
  3. 請求項１記載の燃料電池において、前記ガス拡散層のガス流路は、少なくとも前記第１または第２流路と直交して設定されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
  4. 電解質の一方の面に、電極触媒を有するガス拡散層からなるアノード側電極を配設し、前記電解質の他方の面に、電極触媒を有するガス拡散層からなるカソード側電極を配設した単位燃料電池セルと、
    前記単位燃料電池セルの両側に対設した第１および第２セパレータとを備える燃料電池であって、
    前記第１セパレータは、前記アノード側電極に燃料ガスを供給する第１流路を有するとともに、
    前記第２セパレータは、前記カソード側電極に酸化剤ガスを供給する第２流路を有し、
    前記ガス拡散層は、前記燃料ガスまたは前記酸化剤ガスを流すための複数の孔部を設けることを特徴とする燃料電池。
