Abstract

In un variatore (10) di fase tra l'albero motore e l'albero a camme (21) di un motore a combustione interna, in cui la variazione di fase viene effettuata variando la posizione angolare di un corpo (11) del variatore di fase (10) collegato all'albero motore rispetto ad un mozzo (12) del variatore di fase (10) collegato all'albero a camme (21), tramite il movimento di un pistone (13) interposto tra corpo (11) e mozzo (12) e ad essi accoppiato mediante accoppiamenti dentati (22, 23), è previsto, al fine di ridurre la rumorosità del variatore di fase (10), un organo di torsione (28) che esercita un momento torcente tra corpo (11) e mozzo (12), e/o un dispositivo di frenatura (33) tra corpo (11) e mozzo (12) per frenare il loro movimento reciproco.
