Abstract

Un ugello per produrre un getto a ventaglio di un fluido a pressione ultra elevata è illustrato e descritto. In una preferita realizzazione, l'ugello ha una superficie interna definita da un foro conico che si estende da una prima estremità ad una seconda estremità, così da creare un orifizio d'entrata ed un orifizio d'uscita nella prima e nella seconda estremità rispettivamente. Una tacca conformata a cuneo si estende verso l'interno dalla seconda estremità verso la prima estremità per una sufficiente profondità cosicché la forma di un orifizio d'uscita è definita dall'intersezione di un foro conico e della tacca conformata a cuneo. Quando il fluido pressurizzato passa attraverso l'ugello e esce dall'orifizio d'uscita, la forma dell'orifizio d'uscita fa sì che il fluido pressurizzato esca in forma di un getto a ventaglio avente sostanzialmente una sezione trasversale ovale. Questo getto a ventaglio può essere spazzato attraverso una superficie da pulire così da rimuovere selettivamente uno strato di materiale da una superficie sottostante uniformemente e completamente, senza danneggiare la superficie sottostante. Il getto a ventaglio può essere altresì utilizzato per tagliare un materiale fibroso o duro.
