Abstract

La presente invenzione riguarda un procedimento microbico per preparare delta-lattone dell'acido beta, delta-diidrossi-7-[1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 8a-esaidro-2, 6-dimetil-8-(2-metilbutirrilossi)-naftalen-1-il]-attanoico della formula (I) ad acido beta, delta-diidrossi-7-[1, 2, 6, 7, 8a-esaidro-2, 6-dimetil-8-(2-metilbutirrilossi)naftalen-1-il-]ettanoico della formula (II) (FORMULA I E II) mediante la fermentazione aerobica della coltura sommersa di un ceppo di fungo imperfetto, biosintetizzando i suddetti composti in un mezzo nutriente contenente sorgenti utilizzabili di carbonio ad azoto nonché sali minerali, ed isolando il prodotto della formula (I) che comprende il fatto di coltivare un ceppo della nuova specie di fungo Aspergillus obscurus producendo i suddetti composti delle formule (I) e/o (II) in una gamma di temperatura da 25° a 30°C e se lo si desidera separare i prodotti formati dal modo di fermentazione, quindi isolandoli in forma di lattone della formula (I) e se lo si desidera purificandoli.
