Abstract

Un catalizzatore attivo nella oligomerizzazione delle olefine è un gel di silice, allumina ed ossido di nichel, amorfo all'analisi ai raggi X, con un rapporto molare SiO2/A12O3 da 30/1 a 500/1, con un rapporto molare NiO2/SiO2 da 0,001/1 a 0,01/1, con area superficiale da 500 a 1.000 m2/g, con porosità da 0,3 a 0,6 m1/g, con diametro medio dei pori di circa 10 A (Angstrom) e privo di pori con diametro superiore a 30 A.Il catalizzatore dimerizza selettivamente l'isobutene in ? e ?-diisobutene ed oligomerizza il propilene nei relativi dimeri. e trimeri.Viene descritto un procedimento per la preparazione del gel di silice, allumina ed ossido di nichel.
