Abstract

Vengono descritti copolimeri a blocchi, lineari o ramificati, epossidati definibili con le seguenti formule: (FORMULE I, II, III) ove A è un blocco polivinilaromatico in percentuale compresa fra 10 e 50% in peso E-B-EPOX è un blocco costituito da unità etileniche, buteniche e dieniche epossidate nel quale la percentuale in peso del gruppo epossidico varia tra l'1% ed il 40%, HT è un segmento copolimerico statistico formato da unità monomeriche dieniche idrogenate ed epossidate e vinilaromatiche il cui contenuto varia tra lo 0 ed il 20%, x è un radicale di valenza compresa tra 1 e 20.I copolimeri a blocchi hanno un peso molecolare medio compreso tra 30.000 e 400.000, un contenuto di blocchi polivinilaromatici compreso tra 10 e 50% in peso ed un contenuto di blocchi (E1-B1-EPOX1)+(E2-B2- EPOX2) dal 90 al 50% in peso; il rapporto ponderale tra (E1-B1-EPOX1) e (E2-B2-EPOX2) varia tra 0,1 ad 1,0. Tali polimeri trovano impiego nella preparazione di composizioni polimeriche a base di tecnopolimeri quali, poliammidi, policarbonato, poliesteri, dei quali migliora le proprietà fisiche e soprattutto la resistenza all'urto e nelle miscele con olii e resine idrocarburiche per dare materiali caratterizzati da ottima adesione di substrati polari.
