A találmány tárgyát (I) általános képletű krománszármazékok vagy ezeksói képezik, ahol a képletben R1 jelentése hidrogénatom, halogénatom,alkil-, alkoxi- alkoxi-metil-csoport és hasonló szubsztituensek, R3 ésR4 jelentése egymástól függetlenül hidrogénatom, alkilcsoport éshasonló csoportok, R5 jelentése hidroxilcsoport vagy (alkil)-karbonil-oxi-csoport vagy R6-tal együtt egy vegyértékkötés, R6 jelentésehidrogénatom vagy R5-tel együtt egy vegyértékkötés, R7 és R8 jelentéseegymástól függetlenül hidrogénatom, alkil-, cikloalkil-, fenilcsoportés hasonlók, n értéke 0, 1, 2, 3 vagy 4, W jelentése fenilcsoport ésegyéb csoportok, X jelentése -C=O, -CH2, -SO2 és egyéb csoportok, Yjelentése NR17, ezen kívül Y egyéb csoportokat is jelenthet, Z adottesetben nem jelenlévő szubsztituens vagy jelentése CH2 vagy NR18csoportok: A találmány szerinti krománszármazékok negatív kronotróphatásuk következtében szívelégtelenség tünetei ellen hatásosak.
