Abstract
A találmány tárgya eljárás sósav vizes oldatának elektrolízisére,melyben klórt fejlesztenek, olyan elektrokémiai cellában, amelyanódtérrel és legalább egy gázdiffúziós katódot tartalmazó katódtérrelvan kiképezve. A találmány lényege, hogy a katódtérben legalább egy,legalább az egyik oldalán az oxigén elektroredukcióját segítő ródium-szulfid tartalmú katalizátort és adott esetben legalább egyfluortartalmú kötőanyagot tartalmazó bevonattal ellátott, elektromosanvezető hálóval rendelkező gázdiffúziós katódot rendeznek el, továbbáhogy az anódtérbe szennyezőanyagokat is tartalmazó vizes sósavoldatot,a katódtérbe oxigént vezetnek, miközben egyenáramot kapcsolnak acellára.
