Abstract

A találmány tárgyát a növényi riboflavin szintáz enzim komplex(lumazin szintáz) < alegységét kódoló gént és a kétfunkciósciklohidroláz II/DHBP szintázt kódoló gént tartalmazó növényiriboflavin bioszintézis gének képezik. A találmány továbbá e növényiriboflavin bioszintézis enzimek heterológ gazdákban történőrekombináns előállítására, a rekombinánsan előállított enzimekfelhasználásával herbicid aktivitással rendelkező vegyületekkeresésére és az így azonosított herbicid vegyületek nem kívántnövényzet növekedésének elnyomására történő alkalmazására vonatkozik.Ezenkívül, a találmány eljárásokat biztosít herbicid toleranciakifejlesztésére növényekben, növényi szövetekben, növényi magvakban ésnövényi sejtekben a találmány szerinti riboflavin bioszintézis génekfelhasználásával.
