Abstract
A találmány hibrid mag előállításának eljárásaival foglalkozik. Azegyik ilyen eljárás abból áll, hogy egymás közé ültetnek hímszülőnövényket, amelyek hím termőképesek és homozigóta recesszívnőivarú sterilek, és nőivarú szülő növényeket, amelyek homozigótarecesszív hím sterilek és nőivarú termőképesek, ezáltal lehetővéteszik a keresztbeporzást és megkapják az így kialakított magokat. Azegyes szülő növények genomikus anyaga olyan génkonstrukciót integrálmagában, amely egy külső kémiai induktor jelenlétére vagy távollétéreérzékeny promóter szekvenciát tartalmaz kívánt esetben működőképesenösszekapcsolva egy vagy több fokozóval vagy intron szekvenciával, ésműködőképesen összekapcsolva egy olyan génnel, amely teljesenhelyreállítja az egyes szülő növények termőképességét; a gén egy külsőkémiai induktornak a növényben való alkalmazásával expresszálódik,ezáltal lehetővé téve az egyes szülők önbeporzását.
