A gépjármű hajtott kerekeinek felfüggesztését úgy oldja meg atalálmány, hogy a kerekek oldhatóan vannak csavarokkal (4) rögzítve aféktesten (2) - fékdobon vagy féktárcsán -, a féktestet pediggördülőcsapágy (5) támasztja alá forgathatóan az alvázkerettel vagy afelépítménnyel elfordíthatóan összekötött felfüggesztésen. A féktestössze van kötve a hajtótengellyel (1); a megoldás újdonságát azjelenti, hogy a hajtótengely kerék oldali vége sokszögszerűkülsőkontúros (1.3) tengelyszakaszon (1.2) át közvetlenül van aféktesttel (2) összekötve. A féktestnek ugyanilyen sokszögkontúrosmélyedése van, amelybe belenyúlik a sokszög szelvényű tengelyszakasz(1.2). Ez kizárja a korábbi megoldásoknál előforduló radiális játékot,rezgést, zörejt és kopást. A gördülőcsapágy (5) illeszkedésérehengeres tengelyszakasz (1.6) van kijelölve. A kerékhajtó-tengely (1)különálló alkatrészt képez, és sokszögszerű külsőkontúrral (1.5)kialakított végkarimája (1.4) egy golyóscsésze (3) sokszögszerűkontúrjának (1.5) megfelelő bemélyedése fogadja be a végkarimát (1.4).
