Claims (29)
1. Postupak za proizvodnju kugličastog sferičnog površinski modificiranog kalcijevog karbonata koji sadrži čestice koji obuhvaća korake:
a) osiguravanja barem jedne vodene suspenzije koja sadrži kalcijev karbonat koji sadrži mineral;
b) osiguravanja barem jedne kiseline koja se otapa u vodi;
c) proizvoljno osiguravanje dodatnog plinovitog CO2 iz vanjskog izvora;
d) dovođenje u kontakt uz miješanje navedene vodene suspenzije koja sadrži kalcijev karbonat koji sadrži mineral iz koraka a) s navedenom kiselinom iz koraka b) i s navedenim CO2 nastalim na licu mjesta i/ili koji se dobavlja iz vanjskog izvora iz koraka c),
e) proizvoljno uklanjanje vode iz vodene suspenzije;
naznačen time da se barem jedno sredstvo za obradu dodaje prije, tijekom ili poslije dovođenja u kontakt navedene vodene suspenzije koja sadrži kalcijev karbonat koji sadrži mineral iz koraka a) s navedenom kiselinom iz koraka b) i s navedenim CO2 nastalim na licu mjesta i/ili koji se dobavlja iz vanjskog izvora iz koraka c), te
pri čemu se barem jedno sredstvo za obradu bira iz skupine koju čine željezni sulfat, željezov sulfat, željezni klorid, željezov klorid, aluminijev sulfat, i/ili njihovi hidratni oblici, te
pri čemu se sredstvo za obradu dodaje u količinama sve do 8 tež.% na bazi suhe težine suspenzije.
2. Postupak prema zahtjevu 1, naznačen time da se navedeni kalcijev karbonat koji sadrži mineral bira iz skupine koju čine mramor, kreda, vapnenac, kalcit, dolomit, istaloženi kalcijev karbonat (PCC), te od njihovih smjesa.
3. Postupak prema zahtjevu 1 ili 2, naznačen time da navedeni kalcijev karbonat koji sadrži mineral u suspenziji ima weight median particle diameter od 0.01 µm do 10 µm, poželjno od 0.2 µm do 2 µm, poželjnije od 0.5 µm do 1 µm.
4. Postupak prema jednom od zahtjeva 1 do 3, naznačen time da navedena suspenzija iz koraka a) ima sadržaj čvrstih tvari od više od 4 tež.-%, poželjno od 5 tež.-% do oko 20 tež.-%, bazirano na težini suspenzije.
5. Postupak prema jednom od zahtjeva 1 do 4, naznačen time da se navedena suspenzija iz koraka a) stabilizira dodavanjem jednog ili više disperzijskih sredstava.
6. Postupak prema jednom od zahtjeva 1 do 5, naznačen time da barem jedna kiselina koja se otapa u vodi iz koraka b) ima pKa od 0 do 6, poželjno ima pKa od 0 do 2.5.
7. Postupak prema jednom od zahtjeva 1 do 6, naznačen time da se barem jedna kiselina koja se otapa u vodi iz koraka b) bira od fosforne kiseline, limunske kiseline, borne kiseline, ili njihovih smjesa.
8. Postupak prema jednom od zahtjeva 1 do 7, naznačen time da se barem jedna kiselina koja se otapa u vodi dozira u molarnoj količini u odnosu na broj molova kalcijevog karbonata koji sadrži mineral u rasponu od 0.01 mol/mol do oko 1 mol/mol, poželjno od 0.1 do 0.6 mol/mol.
9. Postupak prema jednom od zahtjeva 1 do 8, naznačen time da se barem one kiselina koja se otapa u vodi osigurana u koraku b) dodaje u jednom ili više koraka, poželjno u jednom koraku u navedenu vodenu suspenziju koja sadrži kalcijev karbonat.
10. Postupak prema jednom od zahtjeva 1 do 9, naznačen time da se dodavanje barem jedne kiseline koja se otapa u vodi iz koraka b) i dovođenje u kontakt navedene vodene suspenzije koja sadrži kalcijev karbonat koji sadrži mineral iz koraka a) s navedenom kiselinom iz koraka b) i s navedenim CO2 nastalim na licu mjesta i/ili koji se dobavlja iz vanjskog izvora iz koraka c) odvija u miješanom reaktoru uz miješanje tako da nastaje u biti laminarno strujanje.

18. Vodena suspenzija prema jednom od zahtjeva 16 ili 17, naznačena time da navedeni površinski modificirani kalcijev karbonat koji sadrži mineral ima BET specifičnu dodirnu površinu od oko 20 m2/g do oko 200 m2/g, poželjno od oko 30 m2/g do oko 150 m2/g, poželjnije od oko 40 m2/g do oko 100 m2/g.
19. Vodena suspenzija prema zahtjevu 18, naznačena time da navedeni površinski modificirani kalcijev karbonat koji sadrži mineral ima BET specifičnu dodirnu površinu od 30 m2/g do oko 90 m2/g i medijan promjera zrna od 10 µm do 50 µm, određenu uređajem Malvern Mastersizer.
20. Vodena suspenzija prema jednom od zahtjeva 16 do 19, naznačena time da kugličasti površinski modificirani kalcijev karbonat koji sadrži mineral ima usku distribuciju veličine čestica d98/d50 poželjno manju od 3, poželjnije manju od 2.5, poželjno u rasponu od 1.4 do 2.9.
21. Površinski modificirani kalcijev karbonat koji sadrži mineral koji je dobiven sušenjem vodene suspenzije prema bilo kojem od zahtjeva 16 do 20, naznačen time da navedeni površinski modificirani kalcijev karbonat koji sadrži mineral ima BET specifičnu dodirnu površinu veću od 15 m2/g.
