Abstract

Η εφεύρεση αφορά εις μέθοδον παρασκευής μεθοξυοξεικού οξέος. Η σημασία της εφευρέσεως έγκειται εις το ότι μονοχλωρικο- οξεικόν οξύ και μεθυλικόν νάτριον αντιδρούν εντός μεθανόλης ως διαλύτου, εις ηυξημένην θερμοκρασίαν, εις το ότι η μεθανόλη απομακρύνεται δι' αποστάξεως και εις το ότι μεθυλεστήρ του μεθοξυ-οξεικού οξέος προστίθεται εις το υπόλειμμα. Εις το υπό ανάδευσιν μίγμα διαβιβάζεται ξηρόν αέριον υδροχλώριον, ο μεθυλεστήρ του μεθοξυ-οξεικού οξέος απομακρύνεται δι' αποστάξεως κατόπιν διαχωρισμού του καταβυθισθέντος χλωριούχου νατρίου, ούτω δε λαμβάνεται το ζητούμενον προϊόν. ω
