Abstract

grab rail mounting structure in a motorcycle is disclosed wherein: a grab rail (G), which is mounted to seat rails (11) of a rear frame (Fr), is formed in U shape so as to be open on a front side; both left and right side portions (21,22) of the grab rail (G) are mounted at intermediate portions thereof to the seat rails (11) and front half portions thereof extend forward in a cantilevered state; and stopper portions (21s, 22s) projecting inwardly are formed on the inner sides of the front ends of the extending front half portions. Therefore, a rider of the motorcycle can promptly grip the grab rail. Besides, it is possible to prevent a motion of the hands gripping the grab rail in a releasing direction, thus ensuring the gripping state.
