Abstract

995,906. Band clips. R. R. HARWOOD, and BTR INDUSTRIES Ltd. Feb. 21, 1963 [Feb. 26, 1962], No. 7345/62. Heading E2B. A clip for embracing a body comprises a band having a fold providing two upstanding arms 3 lying outwardly of the band and a crosspiece 4 which is of general concave shape in the direction towards the inner aspect of the band running between the two arms such that when the fold is nipped to contract the band it forms two upstanding ears able to be folded to lie substantially flat against the outer surface of the band. In a modification a plurality of folds are provided. The or each crosspiece can be corrugated.
