Abstract

994,938. Racks, fixing furniture in rows. UP-RIGHT Inc. Feb. 21, 1963, No. 7046/63. Headings A4B, A4H and A4W. A collapsible rack comprises a vertical stack of four legged box frames 12 which form a basic support for horizontal rows of two-legged sections 13 each of which has a pair of parallel legs 35 secured to a framework consisting of a front beam 34, side beams 37, 38 and a beam 39 with bracing rods 40. The ends of beams 37, 38 have hook members 33 which can engage in slots 36 in a similar section 13 or slots 32 in a frame 12. To allow stacking a bushing 41 comprising a collar 42 having pins 43, 44 on either side is used, one pin 44 fitting into the upper end of a leg 23 or 35 and the lower end of the leg of another section being placed over pin 43. Sections 13 can be nested when not in use.
