[Also in Division A5] In a personal sanitary convenience, the neck 2 of a thin flexible urine or excreta receiving bag 1 is secured between the screw-threads of two interengaging sleeves 4 and 9. Preferably, the bag 1 is made of polythene and the sleeves 4 and 9 of "Perspex" (Registered Trade Mark). The neck 2 is folded around sleeve 4. The part 8 includes a rubber diaphragm and may be provided with an annular sponge rubber cushion. For female use (Figs. 4 and 5, not shown) a thin rubber collecting funnel is surrounded by a thick rubber skirt and a sponge rubber cushion lies around the opening formed at the junction of the funnel and the skirt. The lower end of the bag 1 may be sealed, fitted with a stop-cock, or closed by folding and applying a clip to the folds. A non-return valve may be provided in the male form.
