Abstract

1323190 A urinary incontinence device R LINDAN 19 April 1971 [24 Feb 1970] 22466/ 71 Heading A5R A female urinary incontinence device (10), Fig. 1 (not shown), comprises a vaginal-insertable ring portion 12 to be received posteriorly of the urethral, orifice of the wearer and to be resiliently retained in place, and deformable loop portion 18 extending from and adapted to be held in place by the ring portion. The said means 18 comprises a receiver portion 14 which can be attached to a receptacle portion 22 in the form of a flexible disposable bag. Another embodiment comprises a receiver portion (14') to which can be secured a drain tube (41) by way of a tube portion (26'). The lower end 22b of the bag 22 optionally includes an orifice 24 in which a piece of tubing 26 projects through said orifice and may either be occluded in order to use the bag as a receptacle, or connected to a standard drainage bag.
