A urine collecting bag 10, of flexible and preferably transparent plastic, has an apertured rubber patch 22 secured over a hole 20 at its upper end and lateral supporting straps 18. A drainage tube 25 has an arm 32 to keep the tetrahedral shape of the bag and thus to prevent it from twisting when worn. Pipe 28 is connected to a receptacle strapped to the wearers leg. Additional straps 40 and 29 may be provided.
