866,328. Colostomy appliances. SHAW, A. H. Feb. 12, 1960 [Feb. 17, 1959], No. 5413/59. Class 81 (2). A colostomy appliance comprises a tubular member 2 provided with a flange 1. The tube projects at both sides of the flange and, on its inner side 3, carries a cushioning-member 6 while, on its outer side 4, it is recessed, at 5, to carry a bag or other receiver. Normally a spring clip or similar device retains the neck of the bag in the groove 5.
