992,713. Castors. HOMA ENGINEERING Ltd. Dec. 7, 1962 [Dec. 30, 1961], No. 46811/61. Heading A4U. A castor 1 is secured to a tubular leg 15 by an expansible bush 10 which is cored to embrace a screw 6 projecting from the castor and is recessed at its upper end to receive a nut 12 engaged with the screw 6, a non-ferrous washer 14 being fitted around the screw and interposed between the lower end of the expansible bush 10 and a nut 9 above the upper surface of the castor, the washer 14 having a peripheral margin 14a protruding beyond the bush 10 for engagement with the tubular leg 15. The screw 6 extends through a ball race housing 8 with its head 7 bearing against the underside of a transverse bridge 5 of the castor. The nut 9 secures the screw 6 to the upper part of the ball race housing.
