Abstract

1,065,960. Castors. J. A. PALMER. Jan 7, 1966 [Dec. 4, 1964], No. 49306/64 Heading A4U. The confronting planar faces 8, 13 of the yoke 6 of a wheel fork 2 and of the enlarged lower end 11 of a fixed, attachment sleeve 10 are formed with complementary circular grooves which co-operate to define a circular track in which a ring of ball bearings 16 are disposed, the yoke 6 having an upstanding stem 9 which has a rotatable fit in the sleeve 10. The stem 9 is retained by a cotter pin 14. The sleeve 10 may be secured by screws 19 in the lower end of a tubular bed leg 18.
