Abstract

877,985. Castors. BONETTI, V. April 13, 1960 [April 13, 1959], No. 13207/60. Class 52(1). A castor has a spherical rolling body B with a longitudinal bore lined by a sleeve F of anti-friction metal into which fits rotatably the end G of a support C, the other end H of which fits rotatably into a block 24 solid with the piece of furniture 26. In a modification Fig. 6 block 24 is a sleeve driven into the furniture 26 and a ball 29 reduces friction. Axial movement of support C in the sleeves is prevented by elastic rings 14, 30 co-operating with grooves in member C and the sleeves.
