An air swirler for a liquid fuel burner comprises three concentric tubular parts 3, 4, 5 and helical vanes 8 disposed between the outer and intermediate parts 5, 4 and straight vanes 7 disposed between the intermediate and inner parts 4, 3. The straight vanes are tangential to the inner part 3. The swirler is connected to the air register of a hailer by arms 9.
