986,799. Refrigerating. CONTROLS CO. OF AMERICA. July 3, 1961 [Jan. 5, 1961], No. 23876/61. Drawings to Specification. Heading F4H. [Also in Division H2] During each inoperative period of the compressor, a control device (see Division H2) moves a frost sensor towards the evaporator and, if ice be present, the fan circulating air over the evaporator is stopped and defrosting is initiated, restarting of the fan after defrosting being delayed until the compressor has been running long enough to cool down the evaporator again.
