985,557. Deep well pumps. ORSZAGOS KOOLAJ-ES GAZIPARI TROSZT. March 13, 1961, No. 9076/61. Heading F1A. In a well plunger of the type having a bore therethrough controlled by a valve, means is provided which is responsive to a predetermined fluid pressure for closing the valve. As shown the valve 8 is attached to a bellows 9 which is arranged to close the valve as the result of the head or pressure in the well. In addition a member 14 is movable by the bellows to expand sealing rings 16 into contact with the well tube. The valve may have means to give snap-action to the closure.
